Video Games Half Life 2: Lost Coast

Has anyone else gotten thier hands on this single level beauty?

Valve's HDR > Anything else on the market. It's simply brilliant. What are anyone else's thoughts on this new addition to the HL2 Engine or on Lost Coast itself?

I downloaded it a few days ago. I have yet to play it, sadly... :sad: I think it will be very beautiful (like everything else in Half-Life 2.) The level itself seems interesting, I can't wait to play it.

 

Half-Life 2 was good enough, I don't know if the Expansion will ruin it or "praise" it again, but who knows.

I might play it once I get my "freedom" back

 

What does the expansion add on to the game?

 

Honestly, I don't think it adds anything onto the game. I think it's just a bonus level to show off some awesome graphic effects.

 

Lost Coast isn't a real expansion. It's only a single level and it's purpose is to show off the HDR addition to the Half Life Engine. Unfortunately only HL2:LC and DoD:S seem to be the only two games which support this new feature.

Regardless, it looks really sweet.
