Celebrations Halloween

Halloween is coming up in a few days and I still plan to dress up like Sanosuke!

I'm making this thread so we can show pictures of ourselves in our halloween costume(that's if you want to anyways)...

hehe, my costume is complete.... I even have the Aku symbol made. I just need to get hair dye...although I'm not sure if I should since it lasts 6 weeks.

Man, I didn't even thing of getting a costume..

Last year I wore my chinese suit, and made a chinese hat out of cardboard and coated with duct tape. Worked great, it rained that day

 

I wasnt going to dress up at all this year until my roomates kind of talked me into it. Now I'm going as Genie from "I Dream of Genie". I wanted originally to go as Von Pinn from the Foglio comic book "Girl Genius" but the dress I would have worn was too expensive. *sigh*

You could always just dye your hair blue and say you're a DBZ character or something. I'll look around for cheap dye that lasts only a day.

 

Good hair dye's too expensive. They wanted twelve bucks for this one-day stuff at one store.
Looks like it's Dancing Mutant Zanshi this year for me. Wait a minute! That's my every-day attire!
I could keep up my tradition of Darth Vader ...

YAY, 1000th post in the misc forum. Well I dressed up as Sagara Sanosuke today. I had a lot of weird comments like "You know karate?" and "Look at the wounded samurai". And I even had two people pull on both sides of my bandana and almost made my head explode... They felt the wrath of my Futae no Kiwami though.

I have the picture taken, but I just have to wait to get it developed. The I'll post it up

edit: Oh yeah, the ladies digged the Aku symbol

Who wouldn't? It's the true mark of the bad-ass, not a pimp hat and a couple of joints.
You know, it's kind of odd that people acutally complimented me on the blueness. At the Pines I'd have been torn apart like a Trekkie at a Star Wars convention. People even told me to do it every day! I would always have blue hair if it weren't for the fact that I'd look like MNsG's Baron that way ...
By the way, That Guy!, congratulations on getting the dull-witted masses of Chatham-Kent to respect an otaku!
