    Thanks everybody! Actually, no one here knows about it, so my 'tanjoubi' has passed completely unheralded here. My parents are gone, all my friends moved away long ago. Aside from the call I got from my parents today, Ya'll are the only birthday present I got. Thanks everyone!

    Hey, Happy Birthday, Keitaaro!

    But the 24th? Really? I thought it was around the 28th or so... well, looks like I was wrong! So again, a very happy birthday!

    I've got to update my profile so mine doesn't get missed next year. At least you got the grisly details on what happened on my birthday this year (I won't share it, it was horrible). But even if it's a month late, I swear I'll make it to a Japanese restaurant and eat sushi and miso on your behalf!

    Well, actually it was the 23rd.

    And for those of you who want the grisly details on *my* birthday. Here you go.

    Woke up, got out of bed, dragged a comb across my head...
    Beatles references aside, I woke up late, jumped on my japanese quarterhorse and rode to work post haste! After which I sat in a boring office for 8 hours doing data entry. (I'm just lucky it wasn't a cubicle) I returned home afterwards, and, as is normal these days, there wasn't anybody there, my family's on vacation without me right now.
    You'll be pleased to note there was a message on the answering machine, my parents called and sang 'happy birthday to me. then told me to be sure to take care of whatever other messages were on the machine too. But that's not all! Soon it was pup feedin' time, Our dog, Kali (a brittney spaniel), greeted me enthusiastically as always, she gets so lonely in the back yard running circles all day long.
    On to the meat of the matter, you're wondering what I feasted on for my glorious birthday dinner... well, it was a wonderful meal of instant pork wontons. Fresh from the freezer. Well, that and a huge garden-fresh salad.. now that was good 8-]
    I settled in for the evening in the basement, relaxing and otherwise 'taking it easy' when I got a phone call! My parents again! They called to wish me a happy birthday and make sure the house wasn't falling apart. After such a glorious day, I just couldn't handle any more and hopped on the internet for the night to possibly chat with a few friends about my new 'quarter of a century' age status, and then finished the evening with a light posting on the forums.
    So, there's my day, you like?
