Thats probably wrong but i haven't spoken a word of irish in four years.

Anyway, ye i hope you all have a good one, i'll be having a quite one since its lashing rain and the streets are going to be full of drunken morons after spending the whole day in a bar.

So I was up at 12 and watching SciFi the Leprechan came on, I was like it has been forever since I seen this, I wonder why they are having a marathon. Hehe.

I go to xanga and read that it is St. Patty's day! Yay. I am going to just be cool, and wear my ipod mini ( which is green) I don't feel much like changing. I know, give it to me to be to lazy for a Holiday. At least tonight I won't be lazy for a tradition.

Well, I am also officially 15 so yay!!

 

Well, the plus side was that not only was my winter coat green, but also my uniform shirt. Protected against pinching all day!

The pinching is actually an American addition to the holiday, though.

 

Very true, it would be a very bad idea to go around pinching people in this country even if it is Paddys day, since you could end up pinching the wrong person and end up with a belly full of knife.

I wonder where this tradition came from? I knew it was American but i wonder how they came up with it.

 

probably someone that like green and lepricons(sp?),i didn't know that you could get doubled pinneced if you pinch someone with green

and i didn't even get to pinch someone at my school because basiclly everyone was wearing green,that was no fun for me because pinnching is fun but the pinnching back hurts!

 

Oi, I'm a little late, but oh well. Hope everyone's St. Patty's Day went well. While most people I know were off eating corn beef and cabagge, I was eating a Chinese feast. Yup, Chinese food on St. Patty's Day, I'm awesome. Anyway, hope all went well and none of you got into car accidents.

 

Don't Scottish or Irish people wear Orange on Saint Patty's Day? Ana I think they started the pinch to tourists or something, and we picked it up.

 

It's basically always been green, but then again, I guess you COULD wear some of the other colors from the Irish flag...


And that pinching hurts!
