Sailor Moon Haruka and Michiru

I've been to a lot of Sailor Moon sites, and on them, I've heard that Haruka and Michiru are very misunderstood characters, but at the same time, there are many fans of these two. Is it true that Haruka and Michiru are misunderstood?

 

Misunderstood in what way?

 

Well, many people who misunderstand them think they are mean and cruel and heartless (I'm not one of those people by the way ).

 

I never heard anyone say they were mean and heartless, all I heard is that they were lovers. Maybe that's how they are understood.

 

I've heard loads of stupid things about the both of them but yeah they are misunderstood characters some people think Michiru is snobby, stuck up, cruel, heartless, etc.....

Haruka I won't even start the list because it goes on forever

Yes, I'm sure that's why Michiru gave the senshi tickets to her concert with the Three Lights, or why she let Usagi borrow her violin? She's so cruel and mean, don't you think?

 

I have heard that too but mostly aimed at Uranaus because she would kill to complete her mission if she had to. It is the way she is I think. She wants to complete her mission and doesn't want the others to get in the way. She at first thinks of them as little girls playing warrior until Usagi shows her (countless times) that she is strong enough to battle. And there are ways to winning without giving up those you love and innocents.

I really like Haruka and Michiru...They stand up for who they are. Yes, some people may misunderstand the status of their relationship....(stupid American Dubs...)Also because they "seemed cruel or mean." They were just doing their jobs....Oh well, what can we do? People are stupid...lol ::is really dramatic today::

well, Incubus has the song "Megalomaniac" out and for some reason, I see our favorite Outer couple when ever I hear it. Megalomania is described as "mental illness depicted by delusions of power, wealth etc." Both Outers have a lot of both, hence they feel that they can do whatever the hell they want to others to get the job done. so, not just cruel but they also, at points, seem to have a God complex to people. I'm sure I'll get a disagreement, but anyone care to comment?
