I think most animes have a separate story in each episode, but it has the main story underlying in most episodes.

Trigun has its episodes that seem detached, but all the episodes are chronologically placed in sequence, and most deal with Vash, and his urge to not kill, and the finding for us, of who he really is.

Don't listen to the nasty man. It's the best thing out there. The early episodes tend to be a lot of fun and a bit goofy and it gets a lot darker later on, so the style is....uneven say. But it's all good. Even my least favourite ep (Little Arcadia) is worth watching and some of them are worth watching over and over again, like Murder Machine and Quick Draw and Goodbye For Now...and Paradise, if you can stand to watch it more than once.

Oh, and be careful of the dub, if you like dubs. They explain things for us because they think we're stupid, but because they're actually dimmer than us they keep getting it wrong. The dub is quite confusing in places.

I have yet to see all of Kenshin, but I've seen 1-15 so far, but I missed the episodes with Wolfwood in them >___<;;; It is a great anime, and seems to have a lot of character development on Vash's part. And Vash has a lot of cool philosophies too.

dude, it's just a typo,, chill...

trigun is good, i wouldn't say the best parse...but it's really good. it takes a bit to build, but each ep does layer on each other...*^-^*

Trigun really is very good, its too much of a brain anime with too much subtlety and not enough cleavage for some people, but i think its damn fine.

    7! 7!! woah-ho-ho!

If you try to killl my bro, you'll have to go through me first, AND Kenshin! anyways, Vash and Wolfwood had excellent parts in Kenshin.. even if noone saw'em.

    brain animes are cool!

sorry man!!! I'm such a baka ^^> too any tests in school rots the mind (like the 5 in a row I had this week). I was thinking at the time too that Vash has a lot of similar philosophies as Kenshin so I mentioned Ken san(not to go off topic or anything)

I'm downloading more episodes now (OF TRIGUN!) ;) just need to find the time to watch em'
