Anime Have anyone noticed that most of the succesful anime have its own manga series???

    have anyone noticed that most of the suceccful anime out there have its very own manga series??? Like Card Captor Sakura, it was really sucessful and it has its manga series and Sailor Moon, it was a really big thing in Japan back then and it again has its own manga... so what do you think???

    90% of all anime have Manga.. you hardly ever see a new anime without there have been a manga to preceed it!

    Yeah, I realized that after I started watching CCS… Or was it when I started watching Gundam Wing after that?… Yeah! That was it! One was from a novel! ^^ Crest of the Stars was a novel first, and then (dunno which order) came the anime series and the manga. Lots of series start out as manga first. Like my latest love: Megami Kouhosei! ^^

    Just look hard enough and you will find the manga of an anime or a novel that an anime came from.. Vampire Hunter D is from a novel and i wish they would translate those Novels to english because I love V.H.D

    ya, VHD has a very wonderful feel to it. so Symphony of the Night-ish too of you think about it(not that hard). Amano's designs are masterpieces :)

    yep yep! If it was made into an anime, there's a manga around somewhere..
    I've heard people say taht sometimes the manga comes AFTER the anime..i'm not sure. does it?

    No rule states that an Anime *has* to be a manga adaption. In fact, at least half of new anime nowadays is completely original material. But since Manga is still a popular item (and none too expensive in Japan from what I understand), the adaptions still follow.

    Example off the top of my head is the Neon Genesis Evangelion Manga. It's just reaching the end of the Eva Anime series story now...
