    Have u seen
    -the Big O?

    The protagonist reminds me of Batman. The story seems to be mysterious..buts its really a dull and boring series ...its a waste of time

    All of it reminds me of the Batman series. One must wonder if it was originally an American Anime, that didn't take off. If it was originally an American Anime, that would explain why the "mecha" in the series, don't look like they were fashioned after Samurai Armor.

    I figured that out cuz Japanese animation has a much higher quality
    ............................................
    have u seen:-
    Angel Cop..
    I loved the 6 episode series..
    The character design is great
    There is some character development
    There is some chemistry between the character
    The story is unique
    and the cop (dont remember his name) is very cute [​IMG]

    Whatdo you mean was it an American Anime? I am pretty sure it is american. And yeah, I wasn't too taken with it after one ep.

    Something about the robots choosing their pilots, big shocker. That combined with the way it takes place after some worldwide catacysm, it all seemed like a rather mediocre Eva rip off.

    I say this all hoping that a certain fan of the series who has been known to post here doesn't see this [​IMG] sorry!

    Big O was interesting, but it was too short I thought. And it seemed too much like an American cartoon...

    But you've gotta admit, it is kinda funny when he calls Big O and destroys a building or two with it.

    Yes, I saw Angel Cop about a year and a half ago, and not to make you angry Phat, but I thought is was sheer crap... one of the top candidates on my Worst Anime list...

    Character Design? Average. Nothing too special...

    Some Character Development, but not much. I didn't find myself attached to *any* of the characters...

    Chemistry? Maybe somewhere along the lines of "**** this", "**** that", "****" or where somebody explodes into a big splash of blood... Not that I have a filthy mouth, but Angel certainly does...Yowzer, it was like watching a really awful R rated movie! At some points every other word was a curse!

    Unique Story? There was a story? All I can recall was Angel having to track down the Red May terrorists, only to have to fight a murderous woman who turns into a big ugly monster at the end of the series...

    And the Cop I wouldn't remember, but something tells me I wouldn't have shared your opinion of him...and I'll bet by the end he gets brutally ripped apart...

    I don't normally like bashing down things (I leave that to others - I prefer the good review posts myself...) but I really can't recommend this one for anyone, unless they're trying to learn how to curse or live for unecessary graphic violence...Blah...horrible.

    I found Big O! much much more interesting and entertaining in japanese with english subtitles. it was funnier and the feel was very much different.

    well, I am lost. Was it japanese made, or was it American? It sure looked american. Since I don't know one way or the other, I just assumed it was from the US.. Well, you know what happens when u assume.. [​IMG]

    Big O is a Japanese anime, but it has the look of an American animation. Of course it could have been an American animation that failed in the US, but was liked by some one in Japan, and it was refitted over there.

    Thats a possiblity...

    ...........................................

    and BMS there were some parts of the movie i didnt like .. for example = Angel's cursing all the time
    But the rest was great
    ..What made me like this series is that u dont know who are the good guys and the bad guys..

    Have u seen Fruit Basket?

    I heard that this series is great. I never heard about it so could someone please tell me about the story..
