    This last week has been a nightmare. We were supposed to help support work involving the plant, but due to my own mistakes and the huge amount of work we needed to perform, I didn't get home anytime before 5 in the afternoon. When work starts at 6 AM that's an 11 hour workday. Friday I was put in charge of supervising some major emergant work, and I didn't get out until 9:30 at night.

    One of the nice things about living out on your own is, when you want to do something, you just go out and do it. There's nothing holding you back. As I was driving off the shipyard, I saw one of the local bridges light up by a few lights. The cars driving across were only tiny pinpricks of light. For no reason at all I found myself wanting to drive across it. So, taking a left rather than a right at the next light I did just that.

    Nothing exciting happened, I drove across the bridge. It was a few miles long... and it was dark.

    But dammit I wanted to do it, so I did. ><;;

    Miz Jackabee's previous journal entry refrences a song called "be human", from the Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex album "Be Human". The album itself is dedicated to the coolest little self aware machines since SMJ- The Tachikomas. My favorite song off that album is one that did not make it to the first GITS:SAC OST- "Goodbye My Master." Seeing Miz Jackabee's entry made me whip out that album and realize just how much I love that song.

    My newest "Moment in Time" story was heavily inspired from that song as well as one called "Spider Bites" off the same album. It was something short that I created in about an hour and a half. Normally I'd sit it aside and come back after a few days to gauge my mistakes and correct parts that were written iomproperly, but this time I decided to simply post it up in its raw form.

    ...And in case you didn't know EMPs dont do a damn thing to living creatures. I just thought I'd throw that out there to preclude that one 'know it all' who wants to chastise me because he missed the whole point of the story.

    Enough about that. I'mma gones. ^^ Take care all.
