Hello, I'm Ria

hello everyone!
just wanted to let you know that i'mone of the peoples that's...new! ^^
i would like to get to know everyone and would appreciate it if you could post a message telling me what you're like! ^^

here's a little about me..
I love to draw anime and manga (I currently [as in a few hours ago] finished drawing a picture of Shinji from Neon Genesis Evangelion)

my favorite anime shows are:
Sailor Moon
Inu-Yasha
Rurouni Kenshin
Trigun (Go Vash!)
Gate Keepers
Chobits ( i've only read some translated manga's through the Internet and I really like it does that count?)
Hamtaro

I'm 13 years old and I've been watching anime since i can remember.
I take Tae Kwon Do classes (i'm a yellow belt so i'm not very...advanced ^^
I'm in the Academic Super Bowl at school, Jazz Band, Art Club (all of these are at school)
I play the flute, been playing it for 3 years now.

My name is Maria but i like Ria better.
I was born in Lodi, California but we moved to Lafayette, Indiana 5 years ago and i don't like the snow and cold weather!!!
My family is all in Guadalajara,Jalisco,Mexico and i love them all very much :catgirl:

hmmm. we're mostly a friendly bunch, (though watch out for neph X. he can be rabid around newbies )

 

Ah, I like people like this. ^_^ Though I'll tell you off the bat that I despise Tae Kwon Do, The American Translation of Rurouni Kenshin, and Indiana. LMAO, that puts us off on a good start, huh? XD But that's okay! I hope ta see ya round, and I'm glad to have another artist hereabouts!
As for moi? Ummm... -_- I'm not too good at describing stuff without taking at least 5 paragraphs... so trust me, you don't wanna ask. ^_^
