Art Help me create my RP charecter

My friends and i are making a manga and i was wondering if the artists of M2A could help me with my charecter. I could use some opinions as i make it. Right now this is a ruff sketch of the head and i would like some input.
I would also like to know which eyes, people think would look best.

 

He looks very child like, so I would think that the last type of eye would be suitable. If this character is meant to be older and rather evil or sinister, try making his face broader and less child like. I hope this helps. some info from a fellow manga artist to another ^_^.

Actually more evil and older. I will fix that up. But would that change your opion on the eyes if i did make it broader? If so which eyes then. I will have the udated pic, hopefully, tomarrow.

sorry to pitch in :sweat: but Jaken if your going for the evil and older type try red eyes and black hair.I have made a manga before and believe me it works wonders. :anime:

 

Actually... the face shape should be reliant on the type of evil-looking character you're going for. If this is going to be one of those refined-looking villains, you ought to make the face longer rather than wider - drawing down the jaw will make the character seem older, and will also make his features a little more severe. But you'll probably want to thicken the neck a bit, to give him a more mature appearance. You definitely want narrow eyes.

 

if you want to make him evil give him some thin eyes like hese squinting almost but not.

 

Well you see i want him to be more evil looking but he is not going to be the villian(if that makes sense ^^;; ). But i did want the more older look. Here is the more updated one. Tell me what you think.

-I broadened his face and drew in the shoulders. I didnt give him a thick neck cuz i didnt want to make him look too muscley, but i will experiement(cuz it almost looks too thin now that i look at it somemore). Give me some input!

But thank you everyone for your critique, i will keep updating the pic. The eyes are yet to come. e.e i forgot to do them. But that will be next. Sasuke_kun, glad you could pitch in, the more input i get the better it will turn out. ^^

 

that one is good i would make a manga of my own but i have nobody to help.no one that i know likes to draw well they used to draw but they stopped im alone the only one in my family who draws everybody els quit and they drew really awesome.

 

Its really good, But a slightly thicker neck would be better, is he going to be rather sleek or just skinny?. ^_^ ohh yey a Bishi me like.

oooookk, I diddnt mean I was sexually attracted to him, I meant he looks very well drawn and if he were real he would be rather attractive. Anyway whats so bad about thinking somebody who is drawn is attractive?. Lots of people find some picture visually pleasing. Also the picture could be a portrait of a real person, or even a photograph of them, still printed on paper, and can still be visually pleasing. Dont take that the wrong way, just felt like defending myself and alot of other people in the proccess.

Diddnt mean any nastyness to you Vash, although your comment stricked me as rather childish. People should be aloud to like what they want (with exeptions to those sick *** child lovers and animal feelers, thats just sick ewww) And people should be aloud to express that liking how they want. (again with the exception to those weird people who think its a good idea tp walk around the streets naked).

But then again everyone is aloud too have their own comments about anyone.

Ohh frig I just totaly contradicted myself making the above text totaly void. Oh well, thats my rant anyway.

As for his bio type thinger. I want him to have some sort of staff(i have no idea what i want it too look like tho). As for clothing a long trench coat sort of thing, but no sleeves, so like a giant cape with a collar. And since my other friends character is more on the gothic-ish look i am trying to get him too get that sort-o-look. chains, belts, etc. The works. . .^^;;

I will do a sort of rough sketch to give an idea, clothing wise. And buy all means give me your own ideas too!! I am up for just about anything. And i would love more sketches Chejo!

 

Well i havnt gotten around to making any sketches, yet. But i had some thoughts that i would like to bouce off and would like some expanding upon.

I scratched the staff idea and desided to have daggers in stead. This is becuase i could not decide on a shape or look for a staff. I will have sketches soon. Which do you think would fit my character better?

--Taking into mind that i plan to have my manga on the sides of a more action, magic ish manga, taking place in some alternate made up land. Like Ray Earth or Ragganork (miss spelling i know).
--And my character, i plan to have be the serious type, dark but has his fun, childlike side, tends to be perverted, makes smart @ss coments etc. Commical yet tough.


As for the wardrobe . . .i'm still working. As i have said before i would like anyone's ideas for a wordrobe (sketches etc), i have no idea what so ever, on what to make him look like. Thats why i would like the help. Thats also why it iss taking me so long to come up with a sketch. -_-
