Creative Writing Help!...please....

I'm a n00b here...::looks around:: nice place you got here...anyway, I'm writing a story (hopefully original) I want to introduce my main character in an extreemly funny way. Any suggestions? Any imput would be appreciated!

 

It really all depends about your character and what kind of story you're going for, etc. So... yeah, when you reveal that, it'd be easier.

:sweat: heh...I guess that would be kinda helpful, ne? It's a bit difficult to describe since everything's still being developed in my head as well. I suppose the character I'm trying to introduce is...I guess...a Vash meets Jack Sparrow type...odd...anyway. As for the setting, pretty much anything goes except for futuristic spacey stuff...I'm thinking of starting the story off in an ancient japan setting and moving it around the world from there, but I might start it off somewhere else. Just depends...tone of the story...like most anime/manga-ish stories. Kinda funny on the outside, deeper and darker on the inside...So maybe it's not the most original idea ever. I've been trying to write a story for years (literally) I've never finished one. Hopefully I'll finish this one...it's not even started yet though... :dizzy2:

Start it off with the main character cleaning his or her sword/gun/pointy thing.
