Art Help!!! Trees!!

    Does anyone know any anime books that show you how to draw trees? The only tree I can draw is the kind with 2 parallel lines and a big poofy thing at the top. --;

    Uh.. here's an idea... GO OUTSIDE AND DRAW TREES!!!

    Easy for you to say, you're probably an expert at drawing stuff. --;

    Trust me I'm not, all your going to learn from a book is how to draw by looking at pictures, those pictures you will hold in your head right? Why not go outside and get a picture of a tree in your head and then put the picture on paper..

    I live in Nevada. The only trees we have are pines, palms, and whatever can live in the desert dryness. But there are little Sakura trees........ugh, they're all blocks away. Maybe I can.....Thanx Kat! ^^

    No problem, btw cherry trees are super important in japanese anime so draw those ones lots, and you can get pics off the internet, it'll be fun, promise.

    I think the best advice is take your time. Just keep working at it until you think it looks good. If it takes a while, it doesn't matter, you don't even have to finish it all in one go. Once you do it once, you will see how to do it, and it should be quicker in future. It's what I usualy do.
