What are some movies they shouldn't have done?

I think the Cat in the Hat, Scooby doo (I hated what they did to Scrapy), Mean Girls and Confessions of a teenage drama queen (same crap), Shrek 2, New York Minute (no more Olson twins PLEASE), Supersize me (about McDonald's food STUPID), Starsky & Hutch, and Garfield (even though I haven't seen it yet).

These are just a few of the rescent ones I hate. What about you all?

    Shrek

    Shrek 2

Most Disney movies when they started to become more CG, 3D, etc.

    Star Wars Episode II

    Matrix Reloaded

    Matrix Revolutions

    The Hulk

Any movie with Leonardo DiCaprio in it (excluding the Basketball Diaries and The Quick And The Dead)

    Titanic (making that double)

    Hidalgo

Bring It On and Bring It On 2

    You Got Served

    8 Mile

    Batman Forever

    Batman & Robin

    All Scream Movies

The "I Know What You Did..." movies

    Masters of the Universe (He-Man)

    xXx

    A Man Apart

Any Movie With "The Rock" In It (though The Mummy 2 was tolerable because of Oded Fehr and because The Rock was hardly in it)

That's all I can think of right now.

Also all the ones mentioned here, except for League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen.. not the best movie, but I still enjoyed it (not to mention Dorian GrayxTom Sawyer = teh win... yes, I have a sick, twisted mind).

Anything based on a Dr. Seuss book should just be left on the cutting room floor. His books take like 20 minutes tops to read. I mean, they are kids books, after all. So how do you turn that into a 90 minute film? FILLER!!

Most three-quels are a bad idea, for starters. (Because by that point, unless it's a trilogy, the original story has been told and its charm, if any, has been lost.)

Anyone remember "The Land Before Time," that animated movie about the dinosaurs? I loved that when I was about five. Then they made about eight sequels. x_x; I had to watch some of them with my nephew, and god, those are definite proof that good kids' movies should be left the hell alone and not killed with song-filled, poorly-animated sequels. It completely ruined my sense of nostalgia for the original.

The Lord of the Rings trilogy; hated it. It brought loads of screaming fangirls into a fan community that once required actual effort and literacy to be a member of. I admit, the movies were visually stunning, had a wonderful soundtrack, and SOME of the actors were quite good - but I think everyone who's taken any interest in the fandom has heard what the purists say about the plot adaption. Blech.

Aside from that, can't think of anything at the moment. Mainly because I don't watch movies that look stupid, so I can't judge 'em. XD

Yay, a place to discuss my most hated movie of all time.

Ella Enchanted! Blech, how could they do that to such a brilliant masterpiece? The book was my favorite in elementary school; how could they destroy it that way?

I thought the first Austin Powers movie was stupid, cuz so many people were quoting him in school that I got sick of him without ever watching that movie. But afterwards I thought the sequel was okay. Overall most comedies like those don't impress me much.

The Thin Red Line was the most boring war/army movie I've ever seen! It was plain boring. I fell asleep several times, plus it was too long.
