Manga hmmmm. are there any....

are there any well known american or european manga artists? if so, who? if not, why not? is it just a far eastern thing? :dizzy2:

 

This goes into the whole issue regarding the definition of manga. Some think manga is strictly Japanese. They would argue that "manga" is not an art form, but mroe of a label given to comics that are made in Japan. Others would argue that manga is simply an art form, and can be mimicked by foreign artists.

 

i always though it was an art form, not a label. then again, i do critize the bull they call anime, saying its generic, and doesnt stick with anime style. whos to say anymore about manga.
