Who's your favorite? I like Merry. TEE HEE.

 

Frodo

 

I favour Meriadoc and Peregrin, although Merry slightly more, because I thin he's funnier. Frodo is a whiny ***. Also, Smeagol isn't actualy a hobbit, he's just a similar species.

 

MERRY!! followed closely by Pippin an Sam at joint 2nd!

Merry all the way! Dominic Monaghan (the actor who plays him in the movie) is really hot in real life....but thats not the point:shy3:

Anyways- Merry looked like he was really pissed off at the ents when they said they wouldn't do anything to help in the war. And at one point, when Merry and Pippin were riding on Treebeards shoulder, Merry looked like he was gonna hurl:anime:

Bilbo was much more fun in "The Hobbit" (for those who read the book or watched the cartoon). More adventurous and brave.

As for the other hobbits, i like Pippin and Merry.

I like both Pippin and Merry. They are so funny together. Esp in the first Lord of the Rings. Like when they mention second breakfast and all the other hobbit meals. And the other one says I do not think he knows of those. Than also when they join the fellowship and Pippin says "anyway you need people of intelligence for this kind of mission, quest, thing." And than Merry says "that rules you out Pip." LOL I like them both the best.
Sam and Frodo would be second, they might come first if Sam was not such a "Stupid Fat Hobbit" LOL quote from Smee in the Two Towers. And Frodo does act like a whiny baby. I think Smee would actually be my second choice cus it is funny how he talks to himself, but he is evil and might lead Frodo and Sam to their doom.
So I can't decide which one or ones is my second fave, but Pippin and Merry are defintely my first choice.

 

In the book, Merry... but I think they confused them in the film... and Pippin in funnier in the film

 

I thought Pippin was quite funny in the book at times too, he was V. funny in the film, so he's my fave, and the actor (Billy Boyd) is Scottish, like me! (Yay!) *does a little dance*
You don't see that many Scottish actors these days...:sad:

Samwise Gamgee for me. He's so sweet and lovely. He makes me want to huggle him, and he's strong when needed, but still shy and sweet. ( I'm talkin film wise here, I only got halfway thru the first book :shy3: ) Next to him, Pippin, as he's stupidly amusing ( that's a good thing) and very hobbit ishy. Yes. Indeedy.

 

Sam somehow seems smarter to me in the book.

I love Pippin. He's so cute and funny. I think that trouble makers are great.

 

I would have to say that Smeagol was my favorite by far. His will was able to break away from the one ring's will even after hundreds of years of mind-rotting (though only for a short time it seemed). I also like how they portrayed him when he was talking with the part of him that wanted the ring for themselves.

 

I picked pippin. cuz of his humor , and cuz of his accent:shy3:
