So, today and yesterday I had seen these half inch long dark brown pieces of something on my desk, on my shelf and a cd container. I was mad, becaus the day before a bug was crawling on the ceiling. So I assumed maybe the bugs were shedding their skin?

Anyways! Tonight we were watching a movie and the light were off, and sudden'y a frickin' Bat came out of no where flying circling over our heads. We both ran out of our computer room freaked out and saying .. well all sorts of things.

Scott managed to get the bat out, but it really jarred him and we had to go for a walk after. The only way the bat could have gotten in is through small hole in the hose on our air conditioning unit, but it was for retunr air, which has a powerful air flow..

so I'm still wondering how it got in! It was hiding behind a statue on a shelf all day!..

Wow.. I've never had a bat problem before.. mice, centipedes, bugs.. it was scary.

A bat sounds tough. I had a spider in my small room today. I tried to squish it, but it was to small. So i grabbed my SW lightsaber, and beat the crap out of it! Don't show fear to the underlings!

Bats, GAH. That must have sucked. Do you have a fire place? A bat could come in from one of those...?

Anyway, it is good thing that you did get out though... with out any bites I hope..:S

nah, I'm in a 2 bedroom apartment. So 4 rooms alltogether. The bat didn't bite but made loud moaning screeches. Looked like a mouse with wings lol. a big mouse. Anyways I forgot to say, I assume the dark brown dried half inch long cylinders was bat shit.

thanks for the comments haha. last encounter with bats were tons of screeching int eh trees at night in Georgia and a long time ago at a violin recital. The pianist flipped out big time, I think almost jumped on the piano. Last time I bashed something really hard was a 4 inch long centipede above my bed with a leftover piece of wood...juicy.

My parents have had to deal with two of the creatures in their place. Not only did one find its way into the garage, but another squeezed in from a small boarded entrance to the attic.

Can't say they had to deal with guano, though. Eww...
