Recreation Homework!

I hate this!! Why must I have so much homework?? Why must it be so much? I mean its high school and I fell like I am in a jail being forced to do work! I just think we should have less of it. I mean we go to school to learn but we dont need a stack of homework everyday :dizzy2: I hate it and I always will

What do you think??

 

I dont really care about homework....if you were in my shcool its the choice of doing homework or facing the wrath of the teachers.

 

Mmm... college...

Let's put it this way: Instead of this, I should be writing an English paper, doing Physics problems, doing Calc problems, doing my chem homework, all of which is due tomorrow, or I could be researching for a ten page paper on Active Galactic Nuclei due next Monday. I don't have a choice; I must love it, or I'd go more insane. Fun.

 

Something bugs me about homework though... WHY do we do it. Its like they love us suffering in our own home. It sucks but i have to do it. (not like im "learning" from it anyway)

 

Back in the days of High Shool, homework didn't really bother me....sure sometimes it pissed the hell out of me, specialy when I had made plans with friends, but now that I look back, I would rather be sitting in front of books, at home, then having to be outside pumping gas (yeah, I work at a gas station, for the time being) I can't wait until I'm back at school....working my way up and getting a half decent job. I hope these next 3 months fly by....cuz I can not stand my job any more

 

Homework sucks, thats all. I mean, we do enough work at school dont we? And if we dont thats the teachers fault. But...I do do my homework as soon as possible, I mean, the soon your done, the soon you get on with your life, see what Im say?

 

I love it. I just love to learn and spend time advancing my mind!!

i HATE homework..in fact, i despise it. it takes up my time when i get home and my beuty sleep at night. it makes me think after school has ended and sometimes, it makes me angry at night. *mumbles random things about homework then pulls out History books* stupid homework...

 

I hardly ever have any homework. I always finish everything during class.

I don't mind homework, since I don't have to deal with it very often.

Sometimes I finish in class, I know I may complain about doing homework, and say how I want to burn down the school. But I really do like it ^_^ Good exercise for the brain and especially math. I LOVE MATH Homework ^_^
And it gives good excuse to call up school mates and ermm have study sessions with the cute guy/gurl or just a chance to get to know them

 

As Quistis and DS know Im in m2a chat almost every day talking about my evil homework....AHHH! I hate it...the only homework that I actually enjoy doing is my Law homework....I would give you all a sample of that...but!!!! HOME WORK IS EVIL!!!!

Homework re-enforces learning isn't it not correct? As the years progressed I treat homework more seriously and really it's something worth having rather than finding resources of your own to learn from.... which can often be a waste of time.

It DOES help you learn, but reasonable amounts, mind you. They pile this frikkin **** on us like we have no ****in lives! And then our dumbass teachers complain about having to grade everything! If we're gonna spend our ****in weekends doing projects, then dammit, you better frikkin waste your goddamn weekend grading that ****, or stop giving it! We already waste over half of our waking hours in school, so give us a damn break when we're out of it, goddammit!

I just do it no fuss sometimes though I get too much homework and I feel like killing the teacher the next day and then they completely forget about. You know who I'm talking about Fuuma. Last years math teacher

 

Yep it does help you learn... it helped me learn where the answer sheets were quickly

BOOYAH.

Not too bad, really. I can handle my homework rather well, and I don't mind Latin at all. The readings for Classics are killer sometimes, though. It's hard for me to read one to two hundred pages of a rambling man telling the story of Greek history and going off on tangents EVERY TIME HE BEGINS TO GET SOMEWHERE.

But otherwise, no big deal.

 

I didn't mind homework until my last year of high school. Then I just stopped doing it since I realized my teachers only marked major assignments, and I knew that just by doing those I was ahead of most of my classmates (that was the most depressing English class ever ... one time I read the first and last chapters of a book and I had read more than everyone else).
Of course, this year is another story. Majoring in economics could make anyone hate homework. It's a lot of reading, and of course, everything covered in the reading has already been covered in that day's lectures, which aren't even worth attending because my prof puts all his notes online, which aren't even worth reading if you've read the text book because they just say the same thing. I could probably get by with one of the three, but considering that I'm PAYING for my education now, I figure I should get my money's worth.
I just finished a huge group work assignment for my business class ... that was a whole lot more work than I had expected. I made the mistake of vollunteering to edit for spelling and grammar ... just because I'm the only one in my group who can actually write in sentence form ...
The only class I actually don't mind the homework from is my Spanish class. Probably because it actually does something, and I can actually THINK about it, since it's not just senseless regurgitation. Even calculus has degraded to that point.

 

We get homework becuase we're in HIGH school. You're in grade 12... you always get lotsa homework senior year...duh. Harder work= more homework...

Personally, a lot of homework can be fun! I love to write essays and I love to research weird topics! The only thing I don't like is math homework becuase I find math boring as all heck.

I miss how easy high school was.
