Video Games Homeworld 2

Anyone else played this game?

Its definitely a great already, and I really do like that theres more of a contrast between the two sides. The graphics are even better, and the game, while very very very tough at times, is great.


Anyway, here are some screen-caps. Keep in mind I haven't had time to get into the really BIG engagements yet, as Im only on level 3.


My fighters persue some Vagyr scouts.


While this shot doesn't look cool, notice all the burns on the station? It started out shiny and new. Yes, thats right: any bomb impact leaves marks, and ion beams actually carve grooves into the ship.


My interceptors pursue fighters while my bombers attack a Vagyr hyperspace gate.


A Vagyr assault force shows up just as I'm about to leave.


A minor note: the graphics arent on full detail, I'm running on a laptop, hence it is possible the get the grapohics looking even better. I'll see what I can do about getting a couple snapshots at full detail.

 

You play homeworld? That's cool, how is number 2, I'm thinking about getting it, but my comp sucks, so its about fifth on my list to buy.

 

Homeworld 2 is my new spirituality.

anyways... i've heard of it i've just never really gotten a straight response on how good it is so i just gave up on it

 

It is one of the most amazing games I have ever played and to be quite honest I've never gotten bored of even the original or its expansion, I still play them to this very day.

 

I have heard that it's pretty hard, comparing it to the first one. But I shouldn't complain, first one was hard too
