Tenchi Muyo How about this Anime?

I use to think anime was all tha cartoon porn stuff, and tha manga was the good one. I rarely watched them. Then i saw DBZ it made it worse (until i saw vegeta)But then i saw tenchi now i'm addited and even joined this forum. Everything in tenchi is at tha perfect balance which drives a good well paced story (something dbz is missing) I know at some time i will have to get other animes but until then Tenchi is the best for me.

OVA -The perfect beginning everything about is well spread from the emotional episodes to the action and excellent fight between Kagato and tenchi. I luved the parents and my only complaint was it was too short. (ahh well third one on its way)

Universe -only saw second half but still unbelievable good and one of my all time favourite series. Funnier then any sitcom and better then any other cartoon on tv in ireland.

Tokyo -havnt seen but read abit if its as funny as others i'll surely love it.


Tenchi movie no1 (tenchi in love) -Let me make this simple i am a real movie buff on getting it right I have only watched Aliens more then once on the same night (because it was so good) BUT when i saw this... i've had it 2 nights now and its been watched 4 times. Not only is it tenchi and a very good tenchi but as a movie it is done extreamly well and feels way better then anything disney would do.

in end i luv tenchi its my fav show and i have now begun to buy all the dvds (after learning my dvd is region free) and i will cherish it forever.

p.s MUST GET RYO-OOKI cuddle toy.

i think i might like tenchi

 

Just watched entire OAV again tonight and i have to add that one great thing tenchi has going for it is the facial expressions on all the characters it is excellent. Epeicilly in the 1st one with ryoko aand tenchi fighting in the school the face on ryoko when she gets told about the gas is priceless even better when she is called a monster.

Also the dialogue is excellent too i mean the comments they make a very funny "I didnt do it the sword did it!"

"WHat makes you think a pretty young girl like me is a a MONSTER!"

"Aww c'mon u blow things up go through walls and fly

"Those a very good resons but not good enough"

-Ryoko versus tenchi outside the school.

Its a excellent anime and the facial expressions make it much better. While gundam wing uses still faces alot to show shock and DBZ has tha (very strange) all the characters shaking method niether work as effectively then the many tenchi faces.

The voice acting in Tenchi is superb. You'd have difficulty finding in American-made cartoon in which it's done better. The drawing style and animation are cool as well, and the story is fantastic. You can't go wrong with any of the multitude of Tenchi series.

The Greatest element by far is the Characters...I mean its so seamless ,And all characters are extremely pronounced from the get go , Its one of the few things i noticed straight off , I also really love ..well not the so much the story but the premise , but then again its splitting hairs , Its all excellent , Its just a pity ppl dismiss it so early , as it takes a while to aquaint yourelf to it ,as ive found by spreading the word to a few friends ,an aquired taste perhaps? , who knows , but it is good . Very good.
