Inu-Yasha How Does it End?

I know that the manga hasn't ended yet. In fact it might be going for 2-4 more years, but how do you think it will end? Or how do you want it to end? Here are my predictions:

10. It takes everyone combined to kill Naraku. Kagura fights against Naraku.

9. Naraku doesn't die till the end. Maybe one or two more eps after that to wrap up all the loose ends.

8. Kikyo dies. Again. This time for good.

7. Kohaku and Sango reunite.

6. Kazanaa disappears.
a) Miroku decides he doesn't have to play Johnny Appleseed for heirs and focusses on Sango.
b) Somehow he manages to get through a serious conversation without grabbing her butt.

5. Kouga and Ayame hook up.

4. Sesshomaru doesn't hook up with anyone, but Rin stays with him.

3. The Shikon-no-tama becomes whole again.

The Big Ones:

2. InuYasha uses the Shikon-no-tama to become human and it becomes powerless after it does that.

1. Kagome stays in the sengoku-jidai and hooks up with InuYasha, leaving behind her life in the modern world.

 

The manga is going finish this year. . .
at around December. . .
That's what I heard.

I want it to end with everyone being happy except the bad guys. . .
unless they are good guys now.
Naraku and Kikyou should end up dying because if they don't then there would be no happy ending.
Ummm. . .that's all I kinda hope for. . .

And maybe the hate between Inu Yasha and Sesshoumaru could finally end!

 

Well i aloso heard in the internet that the inuyasha manga was goin to end in december........
I also predict that Kikyo and naraku die and kohaku and Sango reunite and hopefully inuyasha and sesshomaru stop hatin each other and Kagome but most shippo and inuyasha stop arguing and for inuyasha and shippo to stop the fighting and i hope inuyasha and kagome tell their true feelings and go "hook up" ............

 

Ahhh! Bad rumors!

I'd LOVE it if all those predictions came true but i just heard some very bad rumors.. Inuyasha DIES?! that's just a rumor though (and i REALLLYYYY hope it doesn't come true). I realize all rumors are useless right now because not even Rumiko Takahashi has come up with the ending yet (maybe but its still in her mind not on the bookshelves) but if u think about it .. it kind of makes sense! AAAAH .. don't let Inu die!

btw when i say die i don't mean go to hell with Kikyo i mean just die.. like in the battle with Naraku or something

 

I think Inuyasha will realize that he loves Kagome more than Kikyo.

Miroku will stop groping other girls except for Sango.

Hojo and Kouga will give up on Kagome.

Inuyasha and Sesshomaru will make up.

Kagome's friends will discover why Kagome has missed so much school.

I think if Inuyasha dies or gets back together with Kikyo there will be a lot of dissapointed fans.

many people on these boards, i've noticed (btw this isn't english class so allow me to use whatever grammar skills i wish ^_^), seem to think that Inuyasha can't be with Kagome because they're in different times. Which, realistically, is true. Then again, realistically, you cannot be transported into ancient Japanese wells, fall in love with a half demon, and battle some guy who wears an oversized monkey cape. After all (im not sure about this though) i THINK the manga is called Inuyasha: A Feudal Fairy Tale (or some of it is or something, can someone clear that up for me?) and fairy tales have happy endings right? lol i hope inuyasha ends up with kagome.. i really do. I hope Sango and Miroku have a wonderful life (which I'm sure will be filled with much "excitement") and Kikyo finds her peace (not dies a painful death, sry Kikyo haters but I think she's been through enough). I think that would be the perfect ending ^_^.. so basically I think that the predictions of whoever made this board are going to come true. Except MAYBE the one about Inuyasha using the jewel to become human. Unlike Kikyo, Kagome likes him better as a hanyou anyway, so maybe they could find something else to do with their wish.

 

The title of the manga is just plain Inuyasha, actually. But it's called "a feudal fairy tale" in a lot of places, and at least one of the games has that subtitle if I recall correctly. ::shrug:: Either way, it is a feudal fairy tale, in that it's a fairy tale so far as the Japanese consider it, and it takes place in feudal Japan. So that indicates happy endings, yes. ^_^

 

lol i agree with Sayain ChiChi... there are gonna be a L-O-T of pissed off fans if Rumiko kills off inuyasha or has him go to hell with kikyo.. and thanks kogarashi for clearing that up for me! Whenever i go to a bookstore i always see two mangas.. ones just inuyasha and ones inuyasha: a feudal fairy tale. now it makes sense lol prob just different publishing companies or something...

 

Blame Viz for the title-switching that's been going on. They do things like that. Viz is the only company releasing it in English, they just have the two versions. Second edition is the one currently being released, and is probably the one without the "feudal fairy tale" tacked onto the title. Can't say for sure as I haven't actually gone to a bookstore and looked at it.

I've also seen a couple of the manga's title Inuyasha: A Feudal Fairytale. I actaully think that title sounds cooler than just Inuyasha.

 

Lol I have to agree with that... it DOES sound pretty cool :anime: anyway... what else do you guys think will happen by the end of the series? And who do you think will be the one who actually defeats Naraku? (I'm thinking Inuyasha, but you never know...)

 

i herd rumor inu-yasha dies but i hope it aint tru that would really suck but i hope it ends with him goin to the normal era and living with Kagome hehehehehehe like we dont know wut they'll be doing

 

I think that Naraku will be sucked into Miroku's wind tunnel, then he'll possess Miroku. Inuyasha and Sessomaru will kill each other. Shippo will end up dating a wolf girl, Kagome will end up with Koga, and Sango'll end up freeing Miroku and marrying him.

 

interesting theory... but i think the thought of kagome ending up with kouga is highly unlikely.

also.. i've also heard rumors of inuyasha dying.. but let's not forget.. they are JUST RUMORS. NOBODY knows what's going to happen except for Rumiko Takahashi, and for all we know maybe even SHE doesn't know. Until the manga ends in Japan, nobody knows how it ends

 

Inu. and Sessy kill each other..?!!? NOOOO! and Kagome with Koga..?!?!! That's a sad ending..! But I hope that Sango will marry Miroku..!^_^

1. naraku will die
2. miroku and sango will hook up
3. kykio will die and find piece finally
4. i'm not too sure what will happen with the shaikon jewl, see i have a few predictions but 1. inuyasha will use it to become human and live with kagome in her world , 2. he wont use it they will distroy it and inuyasha and kagome stay together and kogame ofcourse stays with inuyasha, 3. i think seshomorou will use it to make rin grow up a bit and them 2 will hook up cus i want them to, i want RIN TO GROW UP >.< just for seshomorou's sake
5. inuyasha and seshomorou dont become BESTEST BUDDIES but they go their seperate ways
6. inuyasha and kogame hook up and be the best couple EVER :anime:

 

What with the impending ending to Inuyasha drastically nearing with every day, I figured now would be as good a time as any to predict the ending before it's spoiled for us on national television.

Now that we know for certain that the ending of the Inuyasha anime and the ending of the Inuyasha manga will probably be done seperately, I figured it might be fun to prophecise the ending for each.

Anime: As evidenced by their high amount of filler episodes (usually containing vast ammounts of fluff) not to mention their portrayal of Kikyo in regards to Inu/Kag's relationship, I have a gut feeling that whoever is in charge of the anime will bring Inuyasha and Kagome full circle in their relationship but will also probably lay Kikyo to rest. I highly doubt that after all the trouble they've spent building this up that they'll just suddenly decide to send Inuyasha trotting down to hell with Kikyo, and anyway Kikyo's sort of been pointing Inuyasha in the direction of Kagome as it is, making such a scenario less likely to occur. Naraku signed his death warrant the minute he decided to become the main antagonist in the series, but as to who ends up finally destroying him it remains a mystery. I have a few theories on the subject (Kikyo has the most REASON to destroy Naraku, but Inuyasha/Kagome are the ones expected to do it. I must say it'd be a bit anti-climactic if Shippo ended up as the hero, but it'd certainly make for a surprising ending). I also have a hunch that Kagura will team up with Naraku's foes in the final battle, simply because she despises him so much that she no longer sees a point in remaining submissive simply to prolong her captivity. Honestly I think Miroku should just suck up the jewel in his wind tunnel, but it's doubtful that that will be the case. More likely is the prospect of Kagome making some selfless wish upon it, perhaps restoring Kikyo to life? (Even if this happens I still think Inuyasha will go with Kagome, though its equally likely that theyll try to find a suitor for Kikyo as well). Kouga and Ayame will probably wind up together, as well as (of course) Miroku and Sango. After such a lengthy and dramatic series, I highly doubt the anime creators will opt for the "tragic ending" scenario where Inuyasha dies, Kagome cries, they put on some funeral music, and call it an ending. They'd be pelted with hate-mail and they probably know it too.

Manga: See here's where I'm not so certain. I have a hunch that Takahashi *might* try to base her ending around the conclusion of the anime series, but there's a chance she could veer off in a different direction entirely. For some reason I find the "inuyasha goes to hell" thing MUCH more likely to occur in the manga (though still doubtful in either case), and it's hard to predict Takahashi's thought process. Look at Ranma, for instance, while I haven't actually concluded the series myself, I've had it spoiled for me that it's a rather unsatisfactory ending. *shrug* Could happen again

So.... any theories?

 

Geez... HONESTLY! do you HAVE to type such LONG posts?! surprisingly i read all of it and i must say it's very good. I can tell you've been pondering this for quite a bit, while i watch Gravitation ^_^ It would make the manga cooler if IY went to hell. Lol, all the IY haters will be so happy. Anyway, there's no way I'm going to post a theory and try to beat yours, for you'll just come back with a longer one. Anyway, i DO have the title for the hour long episode finale...

But still, it's fairly obvious what an episode title like *THAT* is pointing toward, and while I know getting my hopes up may not be the smartest of decisions... *bursts into song* Inuyasha and Kagome sittin in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G!!!!!! ^_^_^_^_^_^... woah that face had like six eyes or something... I wonder how Kagome would look with six eyes. Blah, I'm getting off topic.

Here's a series ending theory I found on an Inuyasha fanart website, and while I must say the prospect of such an ending is unlikely, I found it *INCREDIBLY* sad. Hah, I almost cried just reading it.

Inu Yasha is human as a result from the end battle with Naraku. For just a moment, he manages to get the shikon no tama away from Naraku. Inu yasha, realizing that he is not powerful enough to win in the fight against naraku, does the only thing he can think to do. He uses the shikon no tama in a selfless wish to become human. Without the power of the jewel, Naraku is defeated by the other members of the group.

After the final battle, on the way back to Kaede's villege, everyone is somber and quite, -especially Inu Yasha. Kagome starts hearing sounds from the modern world, an airplane for a moment, then cars. She is scared of what this may mean, and doesn't want to tell anyone.

Inu Yasha pulls her to the side and demands to know what is wrong. She can't meet his eyes and stares at his chest. She notices the rosary is still there and removes it with tears in her eyes. She hands it to him and walks off. He is stunned and lets her go.

Later that night, they are in a hut talking. Suddenly, Kagome cannot hear what they are saying and hears the modern world instead. She looks over at inu yasha, who is staring at her very worried, but doesn't say anything.

The next morning she doesn't hear any strange sounds, so she begins to relax. Then, while everyone is sitting in the hut, the walls become transparent and she can see and hear a modern day park around her. Kagome starts to panic. Suddenly, Inu Yasha is shaking her and the walls are back to normal.

Everyone asks what's wrong, it seemed like she was fading away for a moment. Kagome realizes what is happening, but the lump in her throat is too big for her to talk. She runs out of the hut.

Inu Yasha runs after her, and grabs her arm forcing her to face him. Inu Yasha starts taking at her, but she can no longer hear. She tries to tell him, but he discovers he cannot hear her either. Then, the realization hits him.

He places her hand over his heart, mouths the words "I love you" then kisses her. He holds her to him for the last remaining seconds, before he fades away. Without his support, Kagome drops to her knees in Modern Japan.

 

I pray it wont end like that it would be so sad.Kagome would probly kill her self after something like that happening to her. :'( I really hope the ending is like this...

I hope InuYasha and Kagom get together.I also wish this about Sango and Miroku.
I hope Shippou finds an alive family memeber,I hope Kikyou becomes alive and lives in a small village in peace.I hope Sesshoumaru and Rin live happy and Sesshoumaru raises her like she was his own.
I hope that ever other person finds what there looking for.

but wouldnt it be cool if Kikyou and Naraku we fighting in the end and the same thig happens to Kikyou as what happend to the presstace who made the jewal...then they could make an other typer of InuYasha from that!
