Saber Marionette How long have you been fans?

My long and boring story

The story of how I saw SMJ involves Quake 3 Arena, Winamp, and a song called Successful Mission. I just bought a copy of Q3A, and at that time, I was not really a fan of anime, but my big brother was. so back to the story, I came home with Q3A and I started to install it when a message popped up saying I was low on space in my hard drive. So I started to uninstall programs and any of my unwanted mp3 files. Now my brother is bigger than me, and tends to beat the living daylight out of me if I throw away any of his stuff, so I opened winamp to check if any mp3s was his favorite files. That where I saw Megumi Hayaburashibara's Successful mission. I listen to the song and it made absolutly no sense to me, but I like the music and the rhythm was pretty good. Because of that I searched the web looking for what anime this song was from, and the search came up with SMJ. A few days later I went to my local Tokyo Kid (a anime store that sells and rents animes) and rented SMJ again vol. 2 dubbed.

That was about last summer
so maybe 11 months.

 

I just got into SMJ - let me see when was the first time I saw any of it - probably the 15th of December 2001
I was a huge anime fan before SMJ but now I love anime even more ^_^ V

I'd say Febuary of this year cause i got into at of all places School.
We ahd an anime club going for the last 3 years
1. Year before i was a freshnam
2. there during freshman
3. finally as a sophmore
now this year its canceled for too much "violence"
anyways back on topic at least 40-60 people were exposed to it but because a gropu of friends of mine(the naime buffs that brang it in all last year) all their stupid jokes didnt exactly put over smj but i tried watching the first dvd(rented it) and i likedit it left me hanging so hat i had to go out and buy the rest cause all they had was the first dvd. Anyways thats my story Thank You For reading

 

Thanks Locomotion!

Thanks to the Locomotion channel, which broadcasts Saber Marionette and many other anime and another animation for Latinamerica, I was able to watch it. First I've imagined that it was another story with androids built by humans in order to satisfy certain pleasures,...until I've watched Program #20 of Saber Marionette J. It made me cry. It's unusual for me to find such a moving anime series, then I got hooked to it, and specially to J to X, which (I think) is far more better than the first part. All of this happened more or less in July 2001.

I remember when the first episode came on and you were laughing your head off, especially in the one episode where they were being chased off by the meat ball of guards and Otaru tripped Hanagata I think it was way more than 3 years ago though, had to be like 4 or so because I watched it in grade 9 I believe, and I didn't know you well enough then BMS so it was probably Dave's party because that was near the end of the school year...
