Fruits Basket how many seasons are there?

    i saw the first 26 ep season and i heard a rumor that there's going to be another season so i was wondering.. is that true?

    There is only one season so far, and unless things have changed the director has no plans to make a second season. He said something about not being sure whether or not he'd be able to get the same energy from the crew and cast if he were to do another season, and he doesn't want it to be anything less than wonderful.

    There is the manga; that goes on far past the end of the anime, and it is still coming out.
