Recreation How Much Homework do You Get?

I just realized I spelled homework wrong. Now that that's outta the way, let's get on to the actual point of this thread shall we?

As I sit here typing this, I am indeed doing my homework. I was wondering how much homework you guys get (considering most of you are still in school.) So, let's hear how mean you're teachers are.

last year i had close to no homework, and they say sophmore year is suppose to be your hardest. yeah right.

I plan on having a lot more this year.

 

None right now.. since I'm still in summer mode, starting on September 8th. But I'm guessing it might be a lot from there.. It's suggested that you spend as much time as you spend in lectures on homework, which for me should only be 12 hours a week but since I have fewer classes I'll probably get triple the homework to do. Err, not including studying for my all-over-the-terms too.

I remember doing a lot more homework in high school.. Or what seemed like more since I had to do it in the evenings.

 

Let's see.....a story to read every two days, about 20-30 math problems a day, some worksheets about every 4 school days or so, and I have to study stuff for tests everyday in like 2 or 3 classes.

 

considering im in Physcs honors, English 4 honors, Calc. honors (wierd i know), upper level band (got to keep my first chair), Economics honors, spanish II and then all the practices for band.... well i at least get a page from physics and 2-4 from calc... projects from english...just did one today (stupid old english Beowulf) and about a page total from economics and spanish...i geuss senior year is just packed lol....

Yes it does. I'm surprised this thread hasn't been alive for an hour and I already have a buncha replies. ^_^ Man, I get a lot of homework. I'm in 8th grade and I have English, Math, Social Studies, Spelling, all that to do in one night. I'm freakin' out people, I'm freakin' out!

English III, Geometry, Spanish I, P.E., U.S. History, Weight Training. Are my classes in order, and so far I have gotten packets and essays and a whole bunch of other crap to do. I get homework everyday. At least P.E. and Weight Training you get no homework. Just soarness.

 

Usually my homework isn't that bad at all, sometimes it gets heavy, but that is when I get lazy.

Like this weekend... I have a paper on conversations due and it is only like one page.

I have a poster life map thing for English and a 500 word paper on something in your life ( I know easy )

and thats about it... I do need to get my hallway perspective done for Art, but eh.. I can like do that anytime.

Although.. I have homework in choir. lol.. I know that sounds wierd.. it is just like go through our moves we cleaned and make sure there clean and tomorrow I am going to the YMCA with Alise to work on some of the moves.

Really I don't ever have that much.. because in my classes they usually give us enough time like in English and stuff because we won't get our own book for the class and she also said we won't have much homework, civics.. lol.. since I have been in the class I haven't missed one problem on any paper or the little quiz we did.. ( yes I am bragging lol) Also in English.. I know everyone here, KNOWS my spelling is just like.. makes you wanna rip off my head, but I got 100% on the Vocabulary test..

Yeah all that is off subject there... but.. what I was getting to is now it seems like I hardly have any homework, but considering I have only been in school for 3 weeks.. I really don't have much say in it.. yet.

 

Alot, but i never do it. Somehow i passed everything last semester.

 

i have a project thingy on Singapore.......have to practice on Larry, my Clarinet....i named my Clarinet Larry *snickers* i'm a weirdo..i know. i really don't have much homework.......Lucky me :anime:

 

Yeah... We all have our Clarinet's deep in our closet's with name's, right guys? Guys? ^_^

bleh i just had to do a three page report on what my life has done to me, and how i feel about it..and my whole story this weekend. Ugh!! My math homework is awful..this is my second time in 9th grade and its still killing me!..*shivers*..school..

 

Let me see.

Ok, a typical day for me:

08:00-10:00 - Two hour lecture on Engineering fundamentals
10:15-12:00 - Studying with class on derivations and fundamentals
12:00-13:00 - Sweet lunch/study
13:15-15:00 - Two hour lecture on advanced matrix maths
15:15-17:00 - Studying and calculating maths
17:20-18:00 - Going home
18:10-18:40 - Dinner
18:40-19:00 - Checks email, random obligatory internet things.
19:00-01:00 - Reading maths, calculating maths, revising lectures and preparing for tomorrows lecture.

And I do that every day. Heck, going to campus tomorrow and study. College life y'all

When I was in school I never had homework I either got it done in class or in another class. My friends hated me for it. I had to help them a lot with their homework. I had a good laugh when they put in the yearbook upper-class men (My friend) helping lower-class men (me). It was actually the other way around. I always chuckle when I see that picture. It is one of those since they are older you know but in this case it isn't true.

 

Hmm...how much homework do i get? None.
No, really, no homework at all. I go to an alternative school where they cram all of the work of five days into one. Really not that fun, but it helps.
