How long is it safe to keep a gamecube running? Because, the *** that I am, I became completely absorbed by Metroid Prime and I seriously don't wanna lose my progress. Anyone know?

    um i think.....

from past experiences i think that you can leave it on as long as your playing it. however if you leave it on without playing it for too long, i think like 2 hours you run the risk of monitor burn. that freezes the game up.
this has happened to me a few times with wild arms 2 i left it on to long and the game froze up. to make it better you open the disc cover and then shut it again, the game goes back to normal after that.

Oh no no no, my dear Mog. One, Wild Arms 2 is for PlayStation. Two, from my personal experience a Playstation can be left running for a maximum time of two weeks and three days. And you shouldnt get Monitor Burn if you turn off your TV...
