Art how old were you when you started to draw?

when did you start to draw anime.and post your first good or bad anime pic here.
this is like my first anime pic i ever drew,i was ten years old.[/IMG]sorry i accidentaly posted it 2 times.

 

ive always drawn too,my brother got me started he used to draw alot but then he quit when he saw that i was getting better than him.lol yeah i do have some of my own pics i made up i'll post them.
PS:I have more but i'll post them later.

 

I started to draw when I was quite young, but didn't start learning any decent techniques for doing so until I was six. Throughout middle and high school, the most drawing I did was doodling in notebooks, but I've recently started drawing for real again.

 

id like to see some of your pics post a few. :anime:

 

First manga..anime..man..witch one is it? drawing anyway was like two years ago ? Tore it in pieces and threw it away. My latest drawing..allthough really old by now, was a drawing from kOge . Nowdays it's work work work and more work..if lucky maybe a little shuteye, so drawing is quite rare for me for now

Im not even worth mentioning compared to the multiple stars we have here.
Anyway..what i meant was just that anime is japanese cartoons and manga is the readable thing. Witch one is correct, i/u draw manga or i/u draw anime or are both answers wrong..just wondering. NM.

 

I was 13 when I started. Haven't stopped ever since.

 

I was about 12 when I first started to draw anime, I have got my first ever anime picture somewere, (in other words put it somewere safe and I cant find it now). When it's found I will post it. But like Sabre I have always drawn mostly horses since very young. I will post the oldest picture I currently have access to k ^_^.

yea i satrted around 11 I think drawing anime but i have been drawing all of my life. but i dont have any of my really old anime drawings.

 

I put 10-12 in the poll, I'm not quite sure what age but I know it's between there. Maybe 11. XD I'm still drawing but, I've seen some pics from the people here and (even though I knew this before) I have a long way to go. :sweat: My friends gasp at my drawings, but only because they could never dream of drawing manga/anime, and that it looks too complicated :anime:

 

ive drawn ever since i learned how to hold a pencil but i used to draw mostly power ragers :anime: :sweat2:.actually i have like no style i dont know how to describe it anyway.rem thats a very good pic my brother used to draw that pic all the time.i have one problem with my drawing i can draw ok but its thinking of new things to draw i cant do i need to expand my imagination,mostly all i draw now is vash i know every little thing about the way he looks.i need to come up with a story and make my own manga.
reply to beuty: same here everyone i know thinks im so good but mostly just the people who dont know how to draw i still have a long way to go.practice,critisizm,and perserverence.

I started drawing (in general) when I was around 3-4. Then 11-13 I realized that I sucked at drawing people, so I tried to avoid drawing them. Then around 13-15 I secretly practiced drawing anime for the first time (pretty much always without copying something). Mostly I just did plain faces and experimenting with hair (they all came out really ugly). Then from 17-19 I got inspired from a friend who drew her own, huge manga (a binder full of pages), and so I got nuts (!) and spent the next few years being determined to draw manga/people better. Now I'm 22, and I'm an art major in college.

 

I started actually drawing when I was around 5 or 6... nothing good, crap for the most part, but Hell, I still kept at it. When I was around 12 I went through a period of a couple years where I stopped drawing complete and I went on pursuing writing. Nowadays I really do little of each, though I write for the most part, drawing occasionally when I get the inspiration to do so.

Can't really give an age when I was "good" at drawing because.. well, in my opinion, I don't really think I've reached that point yet.

 

i started drawing at a young age too imglad i did becauz if i didnt id suck so bad it wouldnt be funny.alot of people in my family used to draw but im like the only one who stuck with it.

 

well I just started mid of last year after I watched and fell in love with rk!! I could draw before that, not any good and never tried my hand on anime style either. Drawing lot of rk fanarts after that really helps me!!

 

i started when i was 13 and now im 14 one year older then 13. lol
