Inu-Yasha how were you first introduced to inuyasha?

how were you first introduced to inuyasha? did a friend tell you about it, or were you flipping through channels and ended up watching it. and what was your first episode?
The first time i saw it, i was flipping through channels because i was bored, then i came across inuyasha, and i started watching it. my first episode was episode 36. at first i didnt realy like the show * gasp* but after a while of watching it, it turned out to be one of my favorite animes.

 

lets see... it was a couple of years ago... i was at a friends house for a sleep over and we went to this japanese website and there was inuyasha. it was still very new in japan so most american peoples' never knew about it. i read the book from 1-11 in 199? didn't really like it but just wanted to read the books so i would get more then my friends... but then after a while, i was hooked on it. that's about it i think.

 

Well I have a friend that definitely qualifies as an otaku, but before she reached such a status she'd been hooked on the Swim animes (her stepping stone), and while she mostly swapped all of her dubs for their respective subs, she continued to watch Inuyasha dubbed, just because it was her favorite series (at that point) and she'd gotten so used to the voices that she figured it wouldn't feel like the same characters. Anyhow, one night last December I was sleeping over at her house, and she announced that Inuyasha would be coming on next. Of course I was awfully sick of *hearing* about Inuyasha by this point (she'd been hooked for months) so I figured I'd just fall asleep during the commercial and hope she wouldn't notice until it was too late to awaken me. It was episode 52 - The Unstoppable Demon Within, and I'd never been so quickly addicted to a show - it was all I could do not to dash out to stores and buy every DVD I could get my hands on. I'm so grateful to her! *Sniff*

 

The way i was introduced to inuyasha was because i was bored and flipping through channels and i saw the episode where inuyasha meets koga and so i started watching it and it was very intriging and interesting. and that is how i was introduced to inuyasha.

 

I was originally introduced to the manga, maybe four or five years ago - back when it was still almost impossible to find manga that read right-to-left. XD A friend of mine had some of the early volumes, and after I had finished reading all he had of the Ranma ½ manga, I started borrowing Inuyasha. I remember getting a little bit past Kikyo's resurrection at that time... But that was all he had, and at the time I was collecting other series and didn't feel like shelling out $15 per manga. XP

 

i was watching adult swim one night and after the show I was watching ended I was getting ready to turn the channel I just stayed on adult swim just to see what was comming on and it was InuYasha I watched the first couple of shows then I thought it was kinnda dumb I ended up watcdhing the show again later on the first show I show was the one where Kikyou came back so I have no clue what happened from Kagome breaking the jewal to kikyou coming back then I bougt the movies and found out I got very hooked now every night I watch it tho my mom tells me I have to go to bed at 11:00 I go up to my room for 30 min and then sneak back downstairs and watch it.

 

I found inuyasha some years ago back when i they showed it on saturday twice in a row, my first episode was when kikyo was revived and trying to kill inuyasha at that point kikyo became my favorite of the inu bunch (i had know idea kagome even existed then!). After that i saw the show on miroku (and found out about kagome ) needless to say, i was hooked.

 

I was first introduced to Inu-Yasha by a friend of mine. He always told me cool it was and all. Then Just two weeks ago, I brought my very first Inu-Yasha Manga - Volume 1! And I LOVE it.

 

I saw a preview of Inuyasha on Cartoon Network about two years ago and I remember seeing this dude with little white ears pointing to his head and saying "I think your brain is broken." Then I said to myself, 'I think I might watch that sometime.' So I dragged my brother in the living room at 11:00 at night and we watched it. At first my brother thought it was boring, but I didn`t. I loved it!

Oh, and the first episode I saw was the one when they find out the origins of the Shikon Jewel and about Midoriko. I think it was called "The Secret of the Jewel of Four Souls Revealed."

And that`s how I got hooked with Inuyasha.

 

I was just surfing the channels a while back then, and then Inu-yasha showed up..... of course I loved anime so I decided to watch I fell in love with it the second time I watched it.

 

I was told by one of my best friends. They raived about this Anime that they just started watching. This was like 4 or 5 years ago. And they told me that I had to check it out. So I watched it, then became addicted and began to watch it religiously. And I've been watching ever since.

 

I heard it being introduced on Adult Swim back in 2002. I checked it out. The first episode was fun, then I didn't like it, then I really loved it when Kikyo came back. If it weren't for her (or Sango), I probably wouldn't be watching it!

 

i actually stumbled upon Inuyasha just this past summer. i have heard so many great things about the story, but i was trying to quit my bad anime habits ^^; i know i know, what's wrong with being an anime fan right? anyhow, i saw an episode, i believe it was the one with the artist who drew demons that came alive, and i was surprised. wow...actually blood shed, fighting scenes that had real action, intriguing storyline. so yeah, i've been hooked and now own tons of dvds and plushies ^_^

 

The first time I saw Inuyasha was Right after FLCL had ended and I was a bout to change the channel to watch sister sister :shy3: but something just told me to see what was next and it turned out to be the episode where Inuyasha and Kagome met Miroku and he grabs her and Inuyasha gets mad :anime: I never :glazed: so much in my life so since then I loved Inuyasha.

 

i was introduced because of my older brother
he set the cable alarm to turn on at 2:00 a.m.
and i woke up and it was on adult swim and i stated watching InuYasha

 

I can't really remember to be honest. I believe I was just watching anime one night and the show came on and I watched it. Still love it.

 

I was just flippin' through the channels and landed on Inu-Yasha. I was all, "A half demon half human guy with dog ears? Shweet."

 

I remembered seeing an ad for it on YTV when it was first going to air in Canada. I thought it looked interesting, so I decided to check it out. It was indeed, quite interesting, although I stopped watching after they went into reruns for the 50th time. -_-

Last episode I watched was the one where IY got the Backlash Wave... don't remember exactly which episode it was, though.

 

How i was introduced was that one night i was in my big sister's room with her and i was about to leave her room when she told me to stay and watch Inuyasha with her then after watching it once i got hooked and when i was little i was hooked on Inuyasha then too but i forgot but now i member and im lovin it

 

Vonniesmiles lent me the manga. I still haven't got round to watching the anime yet.
