I still havent seen the last episode of Inuyasha, so Im guessing that in the last episode Inu is going to die  Im not a dog hater :p I have this stupid superstition that if a series or movie is named after its main character, then it will end with the main character's death. Like its showing the character's legacy.

No, Im just guessing how this wonderful series would end. Im saying that I have this feeling that Inu is going to die in the last episode. What do you think? Will Inuyasha die or will he and Kagome hook up?

They're up to Ep 90 in Japan... I just saw 89 and it seems like there's still a long way to go

    ****SPOILER****

For those who've read the manga... InuYasha just defeat Naraku at his castle and Naraku dissappeared. Is the manga much further ahead? How much more?

lol Inu could die, it's definitely a possibility, but I'm REALLY HOPING no.

Also, I think the prospect of meeting his reincarnation is HIGHLY unlikely. Well, it could happen, but I mean I don't think they're going to hook up. If Inuyasha dies, I'm not sure what exactly is going to happen to Kagome. If you've seen far into the anime (Ive only seen the CN ones but I know almost all of what happens up to about 130) you'd realize that Kagome is REALLY DEEPLY in love with Inu, even moreso then she admits (and she does admit a lot...). If he were to die I think she would most likely be scarred for life, and possibly unable to move on. Also, hasn't the show Inuyasha taught you anything? Reincarnation isn't simply bringing the same person back to life, look at Kikyo and Kagome! They're like night and day! Also, I think after they beat Naraku, there will be a couple more eppies to tie up loose ends (like who's ending up together and what happens to the Shikon... all the good stuff) and then THE END. They won't have time to begin a whole NEW relationship between Kagome and Inu's reincarnate. I just don't think it's likely.

But I hope Inu doesn't die!

i don't know...maybe he gets killed in the next...what was it....500 year difference from kagome's time and inu yasha's. hmm, that brings up a good question...why aren't there any demons today if they're immortal?! humans couldn't have killed them off. could they? even inu yasha?

i'm not sure though, but i thought i heard from some point/time/place that Demons age much slower than humans, but they aren't immortal.

Well, the simple answer is that Inuyasha will eventually die because he's a hanyou, not a full youkai. His human blood will most likely guarantee a mortal, if greatly extended, lifespan.

Also, has it ever been officially stated that youkai/demons live forever? Yes, they age at a greatly slower rate than humans and other creatures do, but that does not mean they won't die of old age at some point in the future.

Oh come on, you don't want Inuyasha to end up like another Dragonball Z do you? (sorry to DBZ fans) It'll end eventually, but that's one of the things that's so great about it; you can tell it's a story that actually HAS an ending. If I could end the show any way I wanted...hmmm

They would beat Naraku (duh...that's sort of a given there) and the finishing blows would come from Inuyasha, Kikyo, and Kagome. Revenge is sweet :-D

Naraku's little slaves would die except for Kagura who could finally complete her dream of being "free as the wind" and maybe end up with Sesshy like everyone keeps saying. I suppose I could see it happen.

I don't know about Kohaku. They need his shard but if he loses it he dies. Maybe Kaede could think of some way to revive him, Sango has lost enough. Anyway (if I had my way) Kohaku would live and stay with Sango.

Miroku's wind tunnel would close and he would get together with Sango. They would raise Kohaku along with many others (knowing Miroku).

Kikyo would somehow die a very comforting, peaceful second death... but before she does she would confont Inuyasha and they could have a chance to say their good-byes (no I love yous though please) and then she could R.I.P without any hate or regret.

Kagome and Inuyasha would *gasp* finally confront each other about their feelings, and live together in Inuyasha's time (visiting Kagome's time on new moons). (Drag this confrontation out as long as possible..the romantic angstful episodes are my favorites ^_^)

The Shikon Jewel- I don't really know what I want to happen to that. I think maybe Kagome could use it to expand her lifespan (so she could be with Inuyasha), and since it was done for the sake of true love, I don't think the Shikon would be corrupted by it.

But of course, I don't control Inuyasha (darnit) so we'll just have to wait and see!

I must congrats to you Kagome's Arrow, that's a REALLY good idea for an ending! now i'm hoping for when the series end, it's something near to your idea. i like:)! everyone would be happy **hopefully**....except for the Naraku fans...if there are any...

and no, i don't want inu yasha to end up as long as DBZ **i apologize as well to the DBZ fans** i would love Inu Yasha to stay on for a long time, but i know it won't:'( it's probably for the best anyway....but still:(

Here is what I think the ending would be like:

    Characters that would die:
    Kagura
    Kikyo
    Naraku
    InuYasha

Kagura will die trying to protect Fluffy
Kikyo will die trying to protect Inu
Inu will die along with Naraku in an all out kamikaze attack

Once the Shikkon Jewel is recovered, Kagome will use it to revive Inu and then the Jewel will vanish...

Its then decided that Kagome should stay in her own time... A couple of months pass by, and Kagome is sad. Eventually Kagome will meet with someone who is actually Inu's reincarnation, then the story will end.

Gah! No..I'd be so mad if that happened!!!! Anyway, if Kagome revived Inuyasha and the problem with Kikyo was over (since she's dead) what's stopping them from staying together?
