Anime Hunter x Hunter

Has anyone seen this anime?

Do you think it's worthy of having a forum?

 

Yes I have seen a little and I have read a little about it.

Worth a forum if the thread doesn't take off no.

 

Hunter x Hunter is about a boy called Gon, whose father is a "hunter". Hunter is a generalized profession, you can "hunt" archeological sites, or new tastes for gourmet foods, or you can be a blacklist hunter to hunt criminals.

Gon leaves his home to take the deadly (yes, deadly) hunter test, so he can search for his father. In the test, he meets new friends who also want to be hunters for their own reasons.

Kurapica, a swordfighter, who wants to take revenge on the people who masacred his people. Leorio, a cool medicine student who wants to become a hunter just to gain economic benefit... Killua, a young and mysterious kid with assassin instincts, and Hanzo, a ninja.

The test to become a hunter involves many dangerous and extremely difficult feats... and enemies. it's all an adventure!

 

Haven't seen it, but after reading its description, it sounds good. I'll look it up sometimes when I'm not doing homework... :sad:

I'm watching the third Hunter x Hunter OVA and it rocks!
Specially because the Nen stuff , it's the first intelligent "spiritual energy" philosophy that i've seen. No, there's no "power to the infinite" aura here. Hoorray!

I watched this series not all though. I like it a lot. I plan on getting the manga so it can continue.

I got hooked on this series.

I personally like series that have that aspect (like in Naruto and Beet the Vandel Buster also Cooking Master Boy) where the main character has the power to change people. I think it is always pleasent.

The idea behind the "hunt" are interesting.

It is a very good anime.
