    Yay! the box set is mine finally!!!(long story) I can't wait to actually see the whole entire series, I downloaded the first ep, liked it and bought the first DVD. That was about 2 months ago, so last week i started downloading the rest and I now have up to episode 12 dl'ed (that's a feat on a 56k). Just thought I'd share! I am sooooo happy!:D :) :D :) :D

    lol, thanks! I am gonna wait til my parents go on vacation and sit down and watch the whole thing in one viewing ^_^

    and i only got it fer like 100 bucks offa half.com...better than 170 in teh store...

    Congrats! And I am as jealous as Phox is, Phire. Phreaking...maybe I can get that box set too. Wait, damn, can't...saving money phor laptop RAM, darned stuph is too expensive.

    And yes, the only way to watch it (effectively, in my opinion) is to watch it in its complete entirety. Oph course, it would be much better to watch the movie as well. But whatever, have phun with the series! Oooooo...and watch out phor balloon-head Rei, she gave me nightmares phor a week!

    not too sure, but i think it is the black box...wont know til it comes though...:)

    lol @ balloon headed rei.. I had almost forgotten. There is a hilarious scene where **spoiler** rei's head sweels up and she lifts off the ground and drifts around in the air, suspended beneath her balloon-head**end fake spoiler

    yeah, I'm jealous. Any format has to be better than what I have.. (viv player.. nooo!!! and mpg for the movies)

    Yeah, I got the black box separately, but you know if I ever decide I've got the disposable income and RightStuf still has one, I might try to get the tin. But I'm definitely getting the limited tin for Gasaraki, for sure... First priority on Eva is getting 0:7 (the only hole left in my collection) and probably the Region 2 Director's Cuts of 21-24...

    IT CAME!!! 2 weeks earlier than expected too!!! w00t!!! anyone wanna come over and watch em with me tomorrow??? then after that we can watch Death and Rebirth!!! ^_^

    where ya live? i'll be over in an hour ;)

    extras? it is limited, IMO, but the episodes are there, thats all that matters ^_^

    Extras:
    Japanese, English, French, and Spanish Audio
    Character Bios (new characters each dvd, with an average of 4-5 each DVD)
    ....and Scene selection!!!

    lol, all the above and of

    course other ADV previews fer stuff they have/are release(d/ing)

    *goes back to watching episode 5*

    I was annoyed when the box set came out.

    Why?

    I already had more than half the DVDs.

    But I suppose the fact that I had the Eva movie DVD box set from Japan about a year and a half before the movies come out here makes for that...

    (No, not bootlegs. Real ones. Sadly the translation was spotty at times and at a couple points the subtitles actually continued offscreen, but that only occured a couple times.)
