In the year 22 H. C. (Holy Century), Humans are an endangered species, and Shinjuku is now a town populated with demons, goblins and monsters. Crime runs rampant, and so together with the national police force, private police forces have been founded to maintain public peace and order.

Well lets see...Where can I start with this anime? Lets start with the plot..

Well...the plot...Overall, I can say it wasn't the best. When I first saw the first couple of episodes it was great, but the more I saw the more I thought about Sailor Moon, in a more violent way. It's practitly your everyday Police, going off and stopping criminals here and there. It can get quite boring. But of course, they added a twist. (See Charater Section). Most of these "criminials" are artistically detailed, monster type "things", I guess to call them. Which steal, destory, and just want to kill all that's left. Typical...But of course, at the same time, you have your basic private police companies fighting with one another, while the city is destoryed.

The characters were the best ive seen in awhile. After seeing the well done characters in the Saber Marionette series, these characters came up close behind. Since mankind was no longer avaliable, it was "halfings" to take the place. Natsuki, a bounty hunter, is the main character. With the gift of being the cute character of the show and also a half cat. And her partner, Sakura, a half fox. Natsuki may find herself to be normal, but possesses a very odd type of power. As for Sakura, being a fox isn't the easiest thing. I don't want to give away to much. She has 8 and 1/4th tails, which the only way she can get the 9th and be able to turn into a full fox, she has to eat the one who possesses a lot of power, in this case, Natsuki. Batanen on the other hand, is the pervert of the show. Every anime needs one. And of course, he is half werewolf, and enjoys howling when he sees...nevermind. He used to be Natsukis parter. And then we goto Tommy. (Oh that name..)Which is a bit different from all the rest. He is half werewolf, and has a kawaii face of one as well. All the people you see in the city, are mostly halfings.

What it contains -
It contains just about everything. The humor is great, and not to "corny". This anime does have quite a bit of emotional parts, as well as parts where it gets bloody. Strong language is also used quite a bit. Of course, the action is great and all battle sceens are smoothly done. Artwork is awesome as well, but changes sometimes during the series.


Avaliablity -
All episodes subtitled and are in stores now. No certain company has licensed this yet. But it is out. With many volumes containing 2 episodes on each, 3 on the first volume, and a special "Volume 0"
