Art I made a picture for the forums

Hey,
I got to thinking...Wow! everyone has pictures on these forums except me. They are going to start to think I'm just some contests making advertiser who can't do anything.
So I decided to put a picture up. It's not really anything special, I screwed up in a couple of places but It was a fast job, and I really wanted to get something drawn up tonight...now tomorrow. (I haven't been able to sleep for a while for some reason). Anyway hope you enjoy. Oh by the way, none of these characters are from my manga...but as soon as I get the good copies done, I'll put some teasers up okay. Thanks

Lol, Your right on the spot. I started drawing when I was about 3 years old, but I didn't start drawing anime till I saw some of Akira Toriyama's manga. I was very influenced by his style, especially in Dragonball Z. Also, I kept screwing up on the right guy's foot and I really don't like gow his nose and mouth turned out. I actualliy treid to fix it in photoshop but it didn't work. Anyway it was just a fast drawing, I'll make nicer more detailed image later. Thanks

On first impression it looks like a cross between Toriyama style (the eyes and hair) and the Penny Arcade webcomic (the long sleeves and the shirt's neckline).

 

yep. that's exactly what i thought. i thought you were just going around all the anime forums you could find and advertising your comp!. whoops. my bad .
yeah. the first thing i thought of when i saw this pic is dragonball z.
