Square Enix I Need Help In Ff8!!!

Well, it'd help if you gave us all the ones you DO have. Anyway, in my memory, I'd say Tonberry and Cactuar, right? Well, go to the area with the desert, where Ragnarok lands for the very first time. Of the coast of it, you should see a small island with a desert. There's a cactus that keeps popping up there. That's Jumbo Cactuar. Beat him, and you get Cactuar.

For Tonberry, it's on the lower region of the map, where you get Odin. It's a big diamond shaped structure. Anyway, if you haven't obtained Odin yet, equip Diablos with Enc-none so you can breeze through it. Beat Odin, etc. Now, go the the beginning of the map, where you see the fountain. Unequip Enc-none and keep fighting Tonberrys. After the 21st Tonberry, you'll fight the Tonberry King right AFTER you find the last one. You can save in between the 1 - 21st tonberry though, meaning go outside and save, often.

Sorry I can't give you exact locations, but it's the best I can do, right off of memory.

 

Well, you don't NEED to, but you should collect those Occult Magazines. It basically says you need 6 Steel Pipes, 6 Remedy +, and 6 Marlboro Tentacles. Having initiative helps A LOT with the Marlboro Tentacles...or you can WIN the tentacles and pipes through Triple Triad (The card game). As for the remedy +, you'll need to actually level up normal remedies with Med-Lv Up. This gets might expensive.

Anyway, yeah you need 6 of each of those items. Get it? 666? Hehehe. Anyway, you need the Solomon Ring too. Once you fulfill all those requirements, just click on the Solomon Ring, and Doomtrain is yours.

Doomtrain is *THE* most useful GF in all of FFVIII. Why? Because he affects (or tries to) the enemy with every single status ailment in the game. Stop, Berserk, Poison, Vit 0, you name it. And the best part is Vit 0. That pretty much means "No Defense". It's also a pretty fast cast with a high Compatibility rate. Not as fast as Diablos, but fast enough. Oh, did I mention that Vit 0 works on EVERY boss? ^_^
