Art I need posting help!

Im sure that Im not the only one that has problems. I am new to forums and find the posting screen a bit difficult.

The only thing I could not figure out was how to post images. I wanted to put my sketches up so I could get a gallery some day. I click on insert image and a strange screen I dont understand comes up. I am baffled.

Wow, my forum toubles make it sound like a Im completely computer illiterate :sweat:

if you're getting a pic from your harddrive, you need to upload it as an attachment. you click attachment at the bottom of the posting menu and follow saber's instructions. ^^

 

I dont get a browse option. I have it set on guided mode instead of enhanced mode. Then I click on the insert image icon. A screen titled "explorer user prompt" pops up. I tried typing in the file names here, but did not work. Ill try it again here, but doubt it will work.

 

that image icon only works with an web address, i.e, something that's already on the net. in additional options, below the message menu i'm typing in now, you need to click mangae attachments. :sweat2:

 

Thank you so much, I see what your talking about. Unfortunately, it wont allow me to click on the manage attachments button. :sweat:

This is my computer I believe. So, once I get that fixed Im one more step closer to a gallery, yay!

 

Thank you very much, Ill keep that in mind. Ill try to fix the problem so I you dont have to go around posting my art for me though. The moderators here are so nice though. All you ever do is help and I want to thank you for it.

 

about the pictures

I have no idea when this thread will be answered but I want to know how to actually put a picture on the actual post. Not as a little attachment that asks you to click on the small jpeg button but under the words...like in the thread "Muh works...." or something like that. Do you know what I mean?

To do that, you have to use the "insert image" button, then type down the address where the picture is. Putting images as an attachment will only give you a link to the uploaded picutre.
