Recreation If mother nature struck what would you take?

Lets say that if mother nature struck what would you take. Hopefully this won't happen to anyone. Let's limit to 10 tops. I doubt anyone could grab more then that in a few minutes.

1. My son
2. My clothes
3. Son's clothes
4. Food.
5. My computer (Love the little guy like my second son.) May take a few seconds to dismantle but it wouldn't be that hard.
6. My movies (all are in one place)
7. A few kid toys (my son could grab these)
8. My books on my shelf.
9. My dvix player.

I could grab all this because where it is located. What about the rest of you?

 

Hmmm..... I'm very simply minded but here goes.

1. My laptop
2. My PS2
3. GameCube
4. Nintendo DS
5. Several of my favorite games from the above the consoles. (Compared to the size of the other things they're so small they count as one thing.)
6. Some clothes.
7. Food
8. Water
9. My katar (A weapon that I can use for self defense.)
10. Myself (Can't forget that!)

All these things are in my room and easy to get. Yeah, I don't have too many things that are really important to me.

I'm pretty sure that will tide me and the family over. ^_^

Right now he is with my sister but soon with my bf. I would kill someone before I would forget him. I have had him for over 10 years.

7. a pile of bricks. (in case i'm not)

k i honestly think id be dead if something happened...id try to grab everything and wouldnt get out. i have too many valuables in my room. -_-;

Take a guess as to what my real answer would be; it's pretty common sense stuff.

 

1 Daitou
2 Shoto
3 whatever money i had
4 2 changes of clothes, 1 traditional japanese, 1 modern
5 a small utility knife
6 whatever food and drinks i could salvage
7 some rope or similar material
8 duct tape
9 2, 4-pointed shurikens (great for climbing, prying, self defense, and digging)
10 whatever transportation appears best in the particular situation i end up in.

 

Depends really on the time and stuff.
This is what I do take when tornado season starts. ( Funny I am talking about this now, and like there are tornadoes poping up around the area's.)

At night.. there is only one thing I go to get and that is my dog Buffy.

Lets say it is like the middle of the day and yadda yadda.. I have enough time to grab ten things..

1 Buffy
2 Blankets and pillows.
3 If I had enough time.. my computer ( only if there was time )
4 Some cloths.
5 Money.
6 Food ( Only if it wasn't a tornado.. if it was, I have a frige downstairs that we stock during the season)
7 Water ( Same as above)
8 Flash Light
9 shoes
10 Like my photo albums.

All the things that I listed I would take nothing were pictures, video camera, and home movies. I guess I would die then. I have a few camping stuff too.

Neph I guess you would take most necessities and a computer. Plus your little black book.

 

why exactly are people taking computers and game systems? i mean sure, theyre valuable, but theyre a liability because of weight, cause for robbery, and just plain cumbersome... umm...ness. plus theyre utterly useless in terms of survival. (yes i know i picked swords. sentimental and self defense value, and the fact that you can stick both of them in your belt in 2 seconds and not have to worry about them again until theyre needed.. the japanese outfit is useful to wear(duh) and takes little time, space, or weight to grab)

 

lets face it Tak, we're a spoiled greedy culture.
