Ranma 1/2 If Ranma doesn't exist.. who is the one for Akane?

If Ranma doesn't exist.. who is the one for Akane?
and then state your.. reason why Him?

 

Hmm, well while I've only purchased the series up to volume 10 as of yet, I think Ryoga would certainly be compatible with Akane, if it weren't for the fact that they would've never encountered one another if it weren't for the aide of Ranma. The 200 or so classmates attracted to her just weren't developed enough to deduct whether they'd be compatible with her, with the exception of Kuno who I think has a severe case of infatuation and possibly ADD or frequently overdoses on crack cocaine (but I mean that in the nicest sense possible). Actually Akane doesnt strike me as an incredibly pairable character initially (since she resented most males as the story begins) though her motives seem to shift once meeting Ranma.

 

I am voting for Shinnosuke

Ryouga hmm.. True.. He is the closest guy to Akane (next to Ranma of course) but He can be with.. Akari! or.. Ukyou

Touma.. hmm... although he doesn't have any "pair up" He is too young for Akane -_-.. like Ukyou said.. "yeah by a hundred years "

Daisuke or Hiroshi, classmates of Akane who has a huge crush on her.. they already beat up Akane but they couldn't win over her @.@ so no chance for them...

That was hard decision.
I was trying to decide between Ryoga and Shinnosuke, but I'm gonna have to say Shinnosuke because I think that Ryoga is too uptight around Akane and you should be yourself around someone you like.
But then again that is pretty hard.
Besides Shinnosuke and Akane make a better couple.
The rest of them, they don't stand a chance to Ryoga and Shinnosuke.
I think Ryoga should go with Shampoo or Ukyo.

i don't know why i chose shinnosuke but it feels the right choice.

 

I choose Shinnosuke, cause he saves Akanes Life that's for sure

 

I chose Ryouga because in the early and latter part of the series (beyond the latter part of the manga in which...no...no spoiler...) he and Akane have a variety of romantic situations. The truth is though, if Ranma were not around there wouldnt be any of those boys at all anyway. Akane met the majority of them through something Ranma did, (aside from the Prince...that was Happosai's idea....damn pickles...). Why does this poll include the most minor of characters anyway? Comic relief doesnt count for romance

I also say Ryouga. He would treat her well. Plus he has his moments where he is conflicted by not telling her he is P-chan. Well at the beginning atleast. Just started watching the series.

 

Wait, we're talking about Akane right? None of them would be for her because, quite simply, she wouldn't put up with any of them. Hell, she has a hard enough time putting up with Ranma himself. Such a short temper...

I agree with Shinnosuke!!! He and Akane have met as children and I think they are better fated for each other, since they met before Ranma or Ryoga ever came into Akane's life, it is possible to think that Akane was already longing for Shinnosuke all along, but the thing is that she can vaguely remember him. And Right from the get go Akane was already super nice to Shinnosuke, and she worries about him much than she does Ranma.
