    If there was a real-life Sailor Moon movie, what actresses would you think would play the Sailor scouts?

    hmm...josh hartnet as darien..
    i think if there was a real life sailor moon movie it would be pretty corny or sad.But maybe someone could actualy pull it off.

    I think Reese Witherspoon would be a cool Sailor Moon, and Jennifer Love Hewitt would look cool with Aqua hair. I'd stay away from the pop-stars/pretty girl actresses/singers though when selecting actors for movie roles.

    Reese Withersboon would be cute as Sailor Moon!
    But I don't know about Brittany Spears as Jupiter.:D

    Lacey Chabert, if she cut her hair short and dyed it blue, would be a good Sailor Mercury.

    She looks close to Mars but she doesnt have the 'tude.

    Live action Sailor Moon? 8-]

    For those who don't know, some time ago, two companies were bidding seriously for SM, Saban being one of them, the above is their vision for the series in America.

    But seriously, there *is* live action sailor moon, in the form of musicals in Japan, I have some friends who have CDs from these, video clips and a *lot* of other things about them, they're almost obsessed. I suppose everyone here is talking about the possible eventuality of an American-made live action Sailor Moon.

    I think Yancy Butler should be Sailor Pluto. If no one knows who she is well she's from *Witchblade* off of TNT.:D

    Cant think of who can play the other scouts...but those seem pretty good to me...

    I was going to say Reese Winterspoon for sailor moon too, she is my favourite actress. I think for Tuxedo Mask..... Adam Sandler cos he is funny!

    disney whimped out

    For a while disney was negotiating for the rights to produce a live action sailor moon movie. Unfortunately they felt it would be better to wait for a while. So they have sence backed out and have from time to time hinted that they may reopen negotiations soon, but don't hold your breath for the mouse.:mad:

    Alyson Hannigan I think would really be the best for Sailor Mercury, And Angelina Jolie the best for Jupiter. The rest I'm really not sure.. Maybe Britney Spears for Serena since Serena acts so dumb most of the time. Hehe

    Queen Beryl - either Lena Olin or Faye Dunaway -- I don't care if they've got minor wrinkles! They have the VOICES! Or maybe Bonnie Hunt...
    Galaxia - No, wait! Bonnie Hunt can be Galaxia~ NO! WAIT! A blonde Jennifer Garner! HAHAA! ...okay, ignore that...

    i have always thought melissa joan hart would be a perfect sailor moon. Angelina Joalie as Jupiter. Jennifer Love Hewit as Jupiter wouldn't be bad. Nicole Kidman as Venus. hmm...
    thats all i can think of now:)

    but a sailor moon would be awesome! i mean they have made all kinds of other super hero movies , spider man , hulk , batman , superman.

    A Sailor Moon movie would be great but i think if the wronmg kind of actors are picked , then the movie will be a screw up. but if everything goes fine it can be great , i can already imagine the cool transformations and attacks!

    but what seaon should the movie be? i think it should start from the first season so people who aren't into sailor moon can know whats going on . it can be about serena finding out she is sailor moon and then just like summaruize the entire 1sy season to a 2 to 3 hour movie.

    okay, if you press on Sailor earth's link in her signature, (which I did ;) ) , can't remember which site it was, but one had a list of who would or should play the Sailor senshi.

    Reese Witherspoon as Usagi? O_O Nah, she'd make a MUCHHHHHHHH better Minako *coughlegallyblonde*

    Sarah Michelle Gellar would be a kick-arse Sailor Moon.

    I'm surprised no one suggested Lucy Liu as Mars...

    Jennifer Love Hewitt as Mako-chan. You guys are only saying her for Mars cause there was rumor around that she sang Call my name. :p

    Don't know about Ami.... someone cute that's for sure...

    Orlando Bloom as Haruka!!! :p I'm serious! LEGOLAS!!!!! :D

    we have to consider that most of these sailor gals are young teenagers. I mean, Yancy Butler or Angelina Jolie would be good as Pluto, because Pluto is older, Jennifer Gardner would be cool as Galaxia, but people like Jeanine Garofalo as Saturn and Drew Barrymore as Moon don't cut it. I mean.. remember the sailor outfits they have to wear.. Saturn is a small girl, not an adult midget. lol.. Lucy Liu as Mars.. Kirsten Dunst or Kate Hudson as Venus.. Reese or Kate as Moon.. and Linda Cardellini (who played Velma in Scooby Doo) could be Mercury. my precious Jupiter... who should play her? an unknown person who then becomes a star? or one of those Australian actors..


    lol! Demi Moore as any female villain..prob Galaxia.. Liv Tyler as Mistress 9.. Tom Cruise can be Malachite and Penelope Cruz can be Zoicite (its for the U.S.)
