    First off, yes, Lorelei would be able to re-create Otome Kairo. I believe it was her who came up with the original design for the circuits - in order to complete the Mesopotamia. However, she wouldn't be able to recreate the data that they collected while they were "alive", unless it was recorded somewhere (but I don't believe anyone had done so). Remember that the three marionettes were constantly "growing" upon activation, learning the ways of life, and developing tehir emotions. Had Lorelei simply built a new set of Otome Kairo, it would be like starting from scratch all over again - who knows if the three would even have grown to the same level again?

    Tama and Baiko on the other hand, have no Otome Kairo, and thus can be rebuilt in complete replicas of the original design, perhaps with a few improvements in code here and there.

    The Marine case doesn't ever officially get re-opened, but several fanfics explore this route...

    Yes im back
    picked up J to X vol 3 in Portland the english is terrible!
    and theres only 4 episodes on this one does that mean theres gonna be 4 episodes on the last few dvds?
    and one more tiny thing
    is episode 26 of j to x special for some reason? i heard somewhere it wasnt released in mass like the rest of the series...

    Welcome back! I've been away myself (moving)...

    Anyhow, I believe the release method of J to X will be 5, 4, 4, 4, 4, 5 for the episodes per disc...

    And J to X episode 26 is "special" in the respect that it was not aired on television, as the rest of the series was - kind of similar to how J Again was released straight to Video/Disc episode by episode. Ep 26, I believe, was a "bonus" episode added to the final VCD that buyers purchased. It is a fan-favorite for some.
