Recreation In the spirit of Valentine's day...

    Do you believe in love? Do you think it exists as it is portrayed through the media or not at all? Is there one true love for everyone or is monogamy just something they make furniture out of? I want to believe in it, but the way people treat each other makes it hard. In all my (close too) 17 years I have never been in love lol.

    So what do you all think?

    VALENTINE'S DAY SUCKS!!

    Ugh. The whole day can die for all I care, all this love stuff is annoying and useless.

    Well, I for one, believe in love, which is odd coming from me, I think. I don't believe that the media knows the difference between love and sex any more, or even between infatuation and love.
    Of course, (St.) Valentine's Day is one of my eternal enemies. It's just an excuse used by big business to con people into buying expensive gifts for people. If someone really loves you, then why are you paying rental fees?

    I belive in love, i know this sounds cheesy but i really dont need to feel to express your love on one day, its just cheesy hallmark holidays.

    i agree with mordy. i hate the way it's portrayed on tv.
    but i do believe in love as more of an intuition. i know, that if my Lee wasn't around, i would be missing his company greatly. he isn't a part of me, and he doesn't chare my soul. but, i just really enjoy being around him in a way that's different from being around my friends. i would never want to change or cage him in any way. those things would make him into someone else, and i would never want that. ^^
