Thanks again! My wierdness will someday amount to something...

BakaMattSu, as in a life sentence, a banning, an execution, a public flogging or stoning, maybe a tar and feathering...

Maybe one of you can help me with some of my computer science homework ...
I recently made a simple program at school in which the user has to answer one of my stupid riddles to access the rest of the program. After answering correctly, I have the program write "Hello! Welcome to the program!" in various languages ... I managed to get English, Spanish and French using my own knowledge, and Russian with the help of a friend, but I wanted to do Japanese as well. However, I only can say "Konnichiwa!" and the rest of the line was just made up of "filler words" I picked out of nowhere ... not that my teacher would know the difference ... he only speaks English.
So, the question is, how does one say "Hello! Welcome to the program!" in Japanese?
I'd like to have something better than my current "Konnichiwa! Gentatsu no baka gozaimasu! Purazuma!", for realism, at least.

I just realized something. If you map the Japanese directly onto the translations you provided, you mixed up the translation of "Nishi-higashi" (West-East).

InuYasha - please excuse my nitpicking...:D

It may be too late for your assignment, but I would suggest something like "Konnichiwa! Puroguramu e Youkoso!"

InuYasha - putting my Japanese minor to work...

Oi, it may be too late for the assignment, but it's never too late to satisfy the trivial mind of a cactus!

BTW,you aren't the only girl here,Inu-Girl. Lady Aoi,Lime,Sachiko,Seraphim, and Zanza are female IIRC...

InuYasha - we need more women in here!:D
