Exclusive news - and you heard it here first! Tomita is to team up with
Jean Michel Jarre, Klaus Schultze and Kitaro for a one-off event in The
Grand Canyon, USA exactly one year from today.

Tomita (who is topping the bill) will be on stage for an exhausting 12
hours, performing all of his 21 albums in their entirety. For the climax,
he plans are to utilise the entire London, Los Angeles and Tokyo
Philharmonic orchestras in three distinct 'plateaus' inside the canyon
itself, for a truly surround performance of (what else?) Grofé's Grand
    Canyon Suite.

Tomita will be conducting the proceedings from his cusomary pyramid (now
sponsored by Time-Warner) at the canyon rim. Feasability studies are being
instigated in order to look into how the US airforce could do an F-16
fly-past through the canyon gullies (possibly towing aerial speakers) for
'Mars' from The Planets, although it is thought unlikely that this will
    take place for safety reasons.

BMG Japan are investing in 40 fireworks factories in Japan, Korea and
Australia, which will be working round the clock from August this year in
order to produce the 6000 tons of fireworks needed just for this event.

More news as I get it...

    Ben
