    A BIG addition to the Power User's assortment of tools is now in place!

    Power Users are now able to upload and change their own custom avatars. This means that Custom Avatar Requests are no longer being accepted, and if you're looking for one, you'll have to work towards your promotion to ranks of our upper echelon. :)

    Power Users are still expected to keep avatars acceptable. Keep to the 64x64 size whenever possible, and do not use offensive content or flashy, distracting animations. If you abuse the power, you may find your karma dropping and the possible demotion from the Power Users group.

    What about the custom title thingy? I had it at one point early in the school year and then I came back later in the year and it was gone. Does that have to do with the Power Users thing too?

    Custom Titles are another feature that Power Users get.

    Both avatars and titles are a privilege/reward PUs get for obtaining that much karma points, posts, etc.

    Custom Titles were taken off when M2A went to VB3, and was finally put back on, with a karma point limit.

    i want to become this Power user thing *looks at karma points* WAH! i only have 21! i want to be able to change my custom title. i wanna, i wanna, i wanna! *rereads what i've typed so far* geez, what a whiner i am. alright, well i'm gonna try my best to be a good little girl and earn myself some points. if not, i'll just bribe people for some karma...joking...

    Hmm... I've got... 35 points, 54 posts, and I've been here... Hmm, June 13 I joined, it's July 4th, so... 21 days. A fifth of the way there in time and posts. Cool.

    Actually, I've got one question about the Karma levels. What does the dark-greyish box, that when hovered over, says "(insert user name here) is off the scale" mean?

    Fun! I've got something to try for. ^.^ I distribute a lot of positive Karma, though I'm not sure how much exactly I have right now.... *runs to check* G'luck all... and don't forget to give before thinking about getting. ^.~

    EDIT: Oh, pimp, I've got 63 points. ^.^ Woohoo! *hops around* Powa for me. *laughs* Even though I already have a custom av and title. ^.^

    When I was a newbie (read: many many moons ago... well, not THAT many), I would say somewhat pointless things. But really. You'll get better at knowing when to post and when not to post. *HUGS YOU* I BELIEVE in you~! ^_^

    well, posting to complain that no one seems to give you good karma might be a reason. look at why you're posting. something like that you take to the chat room. it's a complaint meant to get more people going on it. intended or not.

    i know i give karma out to posts i see that are well placed and add to the thread. if i can XD i'm usually not even paying attention to who did it till afterwards. honestly, i'm more likely to give bad karma for posts like sephs, complaining that they aren't getting enough good karma. makes me wonder how many more posts of yours are like this. ^^

    im learning a BIT more, i earned 4 more karma points WOOT WOOT!!! well anyways, i already have made avaters for when i become a power user, and i also do that when im bored. and thanks for your support Stardust Phox! i currently have 22 karma points

    There's no need for announcements like this. If you hit power user, you hit power user. If anything, celebrate in the chatroom, please.

    Also, do make sure that your avatars follow the avatar size rules. XD

    Its not that hard, i think I got that in about a week. Try posting in debates, in gets pretty steeamy in there and you can easily find lots to post about. Remember, as a wise mod has told me, its not about the quantity of your posts its the quality- keep to that and you will find yourself getting more karma.

    252 posts, 88 Karma, 100+ days (I have less than 2.52 posts a day, so I'm guessing it is more than 100.)

    Yet, it doesn't seem that I have the ability for a custom avatar or title yet. Intriguing.
