The InuYasha card game from Japan is suppose to come out in North America before the end of this year. Anyone out there actually gonna get some? for myself, i'm not much of a card game fan so i probably won't even buy one card *devoted InuYasha fan i am, eh?;)).

    I do.

I doubt I will buy any but if they had that picture that I have seen. I may. I didn't think they would be coming to the U.S. though. But I am glad they are.

I got a few of the Japanese Cards, sure enough they prety much told like, half the episode in the card... You know the one that just played in America, the one were Kagome was under the curse. It said in the card something like

    Name: Darkness in Kagomes Heart
Picture: Kagome looking surprised with the shards in her neck
Description: The Back shards enter Kagome. She is in a curse by the black miko. and blah, blah, blah.

Arent those the cards you're talking about

That's rather odd actually, since that wasn't the episode that just recently premiered in C.N at all. The description is right, but the episode "Darkness in Kagome's Heart" is way past what us A.S viewers have seen - episode 125 to be precise (while they're still in the 60's on Adult Swim). The episode we just saw was titled "Tsubaki's Unrelenting Spell".

But no, I haven't heard of an Inuyasha card game. Sounds fun, though, I'll have to check it out when it debuts in America :)

Maybe that was just the name for the card and not the title of the show:p Unless they changed the title when the show aired in North America, but i don't see why they would do that.

I smell another fad game, like Pokemon, or Yu-Gi-Oh. No, the real TCG is Magic: The Gathering. (Saying this to attract new opponents)

Inuyasha is a great series, but I expect the cards to go the way of Pokemon. Sorry if this is disappointing to you.

for some reason i don't see IY cards getting anywhere near as popular as YuGiOh and Pokemon. YuGiOh and Pokemon were meant for little kids because they're easy to mainipulate...but isn't IY meant for a bit of an older audience? I don't know what the PG rating here is...probably lower than what it's meant to be *stupid editors* but i don't know if that age group will be easily to manipulate...again...i'm starting to make no sense now, so i'll stop.

That may be true. Us older kids have lived through the last fad games and thus, may be more wary when buying cards for this one. I understand why you say it won't be as popular, and I agree with you. But I'm pretty sure it is just going to be another fad. However, if my friends buy cards, and the game looks interesting, I may join in myself where I held back for Pokemon and YuGiOh. I guess we'll see what the future holds, eh?

The CCG/TCG craze goes beyond just Magic, Pokemon, and Yu-Gi-Oh. Anybody been in a gaming store recently? There are at least ten different games out there in America that you can find at most game stores.

I think an Inuyasha TCG would be kinda fun, and I'd be interested to see how it works out. There are other Japanese TCGs that I'd like to see brought to the US, like Aquarian Age.

As for whether or not I'd buy the Inuyasha game...probably not. Oh, I might pick up a couple booster packs, but I doubt I'd play it. I already have too many expensive hobbies. ^_^

I hate when stuff like this happens. It's not gonna be as popular as pokemon or anything but I bet it will get more people into it.
Pokemon want really popular at all untill the first movie came out. Then it got out of control so now in my school anyone who likes pokemon is a loser.I hope this doesnt happen to InuYasha I pray.Even if it does Ill still watch the show tho... :D
