I am just learning about how to draw Inuyasha and I want to know if you have any tips and what is the best way to draw the hair.

Heheh. Basically draw it any way you want, for the most part. I'd suggest looking at pictures and trying to copy them, if you want it exact. And draw his hair as either one whole object (with eartails), or draw his bangs as a separate object. ::shrug:: Sorry if that made no sense.

Hm. Well, if you want to try it the way I usually draw....

Draw the basic shapes that make up the figure. In the case of the head, it's a circle with a chin attached. ^_^;; Make sure to draw this light, as it's just a guide line. Put in the facial features (you can draw more guide lines across the face if you want, to help with facial feature placement), then faintly sketch where the hairline is attached to the head. Using the faint circle for the head as a guide to make sure you don't get the head too flat, sketch the hair in.

I'll try to draw a step-by-step picture if you'd like. Feel free to ask. ^_^

^_^ Ok. Good luck with your drawing! Any other drawing questions you might have? (not that I'm an expert on Inuyasha fanart or anything)

About the PM, I've found that Yamigirl is a very nice person to talk to, so go ahead and read it. If you do ever have any problems with someone PMing you, let a mod know, but generally PM messages are okay to read. They're simply a method of sending messages to members without cluttering up the boards.

Yeah, okay. I'd like to post mine up. But how do you do it? And how do you put those pictures under your names? Like neoblacklady, and underneath is a picture of Wicked Lady. How do you do that?

With the avatars (the picture under your name), you can change it in the User Control Panel (usercp), as Kupa pointed out, or, if you have an avatar of the right size you'd like to use, you can request it in the Miscellaneous forum (there's a thread there for custom avatar requests). I suggest going through Manga to Anime's collection of avatars first, to see if there's already something you'd like to use. ^_^

As for members' fanart (even of Inuyasha), it should probably go in the art forum on the boards, rather in here. Once I get around to it, I'll post mine in the art forum. ^_^ You use the "attach file" option when you post a reply/new thread, and find your file on your harddrive. Just remember that there is a size limit, and a restriction on file types (.gif and .jpg, if I'm not mistaken). You can also host images on webspace and link to them in your post.
