Ever wondered what inuyasha's childhood was like?
I have! SO For this thread write all that you know about his childhood that isn't obvious and don't forget to put Picz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know that He has a half brother, A dog demon father who is dead and a human mother who is also dead etc.I also know he was teased for being a hanyou(half demon). Here Is a pic(fan art, not mine) ofbaby inuyasha

How DId his mother die?
DID he ever have friends?
HOW could a giant demon and a small human.... ok I won't go there.. :dizzy2:

I've wondered that too, as well as:

- When Inuyasha is full demon, why doesn't he turn into a dog, like Sesshomaru or his father? [From what I've see, his eyes just turn red. Sorry that wasn't about his childhood]
- How come the only part of his family that he knows of is Sesshomaru? No aunts or uncles?

I've often wondered that myself, but I speculate that because she was a mere mortal (who mated with a demon), the more prideful pure blooded demons probably found the idea repulsive and felt the need to rid themselves of the disgrace to their kind. But it's rather irrelevant anyhow, and your guess is as good as mine.

Another question that can probably be answered with "Rumiko Takahashi hasn't thought about it because it doesn't much pertain to his current situation, so they haven't been included in the story". My guess is that (while he may have had a few companions) his friend coutn was severely limited due to his lack of pure blood one way or the other, something that obviously means a lot to the majority of the feudal Japanese population.

Interesting observation . I suspect that Inuyasha's father had two forms, much like Sesshomaru (his almost ethereal human form (at least in appearance) and his more menacing demon form). He probably kept his "human" form more often then the latter, for convenience if for nothing else. I

Because Inuyasha doesn't actually turn full demon, rather his demon blood takes over his human conscience and just ends up reeking havoc and blindly killing to satisfy its thirst for blood. It is actually Sesshomaru who discovers this and is in turn greatly relieved, for the thought of an actual full blooded Inuyasha (with his original skills and intelligence still intact) is a frightening prospect to even the most powerful of demons.

Maybe his parents didn't have any siblings, or more likely any siblings they once had were killed off since death in feudal Japan is a uch more common occurence then it is here. Or, more likely still, Rumiko Takahashi hasn't considered it.

 

I belive that inuyasha wont turn into a dog because he's not full youkai. Even though he turns into what they said was a full youkai, he's not. He can never be a full demon with out the jewel. So technicaly, it's kindda like his demon blood boils or somthing, which makes him appear to become a full youkai, but yeah...

WEll I think when he turns in to a "full demon" he only has the the full blood but he appears to have no heart so thats what makes him so blood thursty. He can't control himself because the vicious demon inside takes over.If he uses the Shikon no Tama to become a full demon he will probably stay the form of a full demon that we see with the red eyes because in one episode I remember kagome being mad or sad or sumthing because of when he turns full demon with the Shikon no Tama he will become mean and vicious Inuyasha that she just saw(with the red eyes).
