Inu-Yasha 'Inuyasha's dad' thread

Hello everyone. I make a lot of threads huh?

Anyways, I've been wondering about Inuyasha's dad. I know a lot of his information but does anyone know what he really looks like? Has Rumiko-sama showed his picture?

I also take fanarts if you have them. Go ahead and post what you think Inuyasha's dad looks like.

Well, I had seen that picture in the series but I was wondering about his 'human' form. What does that look like?

Human form?
Sesshomaru never becomes a 'human' he is full demon, and he has NO desire to ever become one

 

Oops, ^^;; I meant to say his demon "human looking" form. Sorry about the confusion.

 

Yeah, I've wondered what Inuyasha & Sess's dad really looks like when he's not in his "true" form.. I'll take a look around and see if I can find anything (if there ARE any pics of him not in true demon form).

 

If not you could always draw your own. I would but I'm too busy at the moment. I barely even have time to come here when I can.

But maybe I will on the weekend and then post it.

 

As far as I know, there are only a total of three pictures of him at all, and all are in his animal-form rather than his humanoid-form. One is the screencap that Zero already posted, and another is the shot of that in the manga. Here's a third, from the first movie.

For fanart, you can check around www.mediaminer.org and www.deviantart.com . I'm sure there are people who've done Inutaisho fanart. I've seen some at MediaMiner before.

Thanks for the other site Kogarashi-sama! ^_^ I liked it and I found some really good fanarts. They weren't ones of his dad but they were still good.

 

No problem. I just know that they're two of the big ones (I even have a gallery at Deviantart). ^_^

 

I would imagine he has long, "silver" (says Yura) hair He was HUGE in ep. 6 or so, his tomb thingy? He was MASSIVE, scary stuff, I can see why he like... ruled the western lands or whatever...

 

His tomb, I think, is something halfway between his humanoid and canine forms. I'm sure he's the same size as Sesshoumaru when he's walking around as a humanoid youkai. But yes, he's much much bigger as a full-dog than Sessh is.

 

my thinking is that Paps looks like sesshomaru. or like
jinengi's father human form i wouldent think he looks like inuyasha as much

 

Course not cause he's a full demon and Inuyasha is half. But I also bet he looked a bit like Sessh, but maybe without the crescent moon on his forehead. Sessh probably got that from his mom.

 

Speaking of which, does it ever let you know who Sesshomaru's mother really is? I'm sure he got his poison claws from her too right? And that WHIP!! My GOD!! He couldnt have gotten that from papa bear. What of Jinenji's dad? Do we evver see him agian? Does anyone know what kind of demon he was? Judging from Jinenji's looks... he could have been a... horse/dragonfly/sumo wrestler demon.

 

Well, Sessh's whip is negligible. It's not in the manga at all. And no, they don't actually tell (yet) what his mother looks like. They might though.

 

The only looks Jinenji got from his dad were his round blue eyes, and even they were a little different from his... But to answer your questions, HanyouInuYasha, here's some info on him from the minor characters section of The Inuyasha Shrine.

"Jinenji's Parents : Jinenji's father was a horse youkai (but appeared to the mother in his human form). He died before we meet the mother and son, but he left his herb farm to them. His mother still cares for him, even in her old age. "

Yeah, I bet she's gonna come back (I vote that she'll most likely appear in the anime and not the manga) as sort of a side plot. Why she'll come back I don't know but she still might. Maybe she'll try to convince Sesshoumaru to kill Rin (and scold him for having a human girl with him).

That actually sounds like a really good fanfic idea. I think I'll go write it down now. ^_^

 

i'll go with zero_enna but why would inuyasha's dad hve the hots for humans? anyway, if he really looked like sesshomaru, why would he have eye liner?
