Iron Chef France Battle!

Who here has seen it?
I watched the second part of it yesterday evening and it was rather interesting. 3 Iron chefs versus the top chefs in France, and the Iron Chefs actually were in a castle in France battling. It really annoyed me though, I think that the French "tasters" were a bit biased... this is just my opinion, but they gave Iron Chef France 12 and 13 on his food, and then like 20's for the chef from France?

Oh and the music was interesting too... well it was taken from Escaflowne! It was awesome to hear Yokko Kanno's works on Iron Chef.. the first one I heard was "Flying Dragon", but I was a bit mad when they didn't show her name in the credits...

 

An amazing show.. i enjoyed the episode where the iron chefs worked together to take on three challengers. The teamwork was amazing, as was the way tehy finished everything with about 10 seconds to go. Amazing planning.

The host's outfit was also hilarious. I need to watch it more

heres a cry for some miscellaneous information.
alrite people seriously now. who watches the amazing show iron chef? c'mon now, i know you do and you enjoy it to the utmost. who can resist the heated battles and blazin food and risng pressure at the deciding moment. and the biting into a yellow pepper! oo..its good stuff. and with king of iron chef rolling around on food netwerk, how can you stand not to watch it?
and whos yo favorite chef?

I saw that Futurama too... IRON COOK!!! That was soooo awsome!!!! It was only water!!!

But, I love Iron Chef, it kicks buttocksis!!! My favortie Iron Chef would have to be... Morimotosan (Morimoto)

Has anyone been keeping track of the King of Iron Chefs tournament??? I forgot too!!! if anyone else has... plz tell me what the current standings are!!

well *clearing throat* from what ive seen of king of iron chef..in the first elimination round of chen vs kobe, chen won, 5 to 0 on the judges panel. it was a pork (tokyo x) battle.
and the second elimination round was morimoto vs sakai and saki won, pretty close. i think it was bell peppers er sumthing.
and then the final is chen vs sakai and ive only seen the first episode of the two episode battle. its a lobster battle. it looks pretty good.
and the outcome of that battles sum top chef in the world. sum french guy im pretty sure.
werd...

 

I love iron chef, though I've only seen a couple episodes here and there. Since I haven't seen enough of the chefs in action, I don't have a particular favorite.

This does bring me memories of the game Suikoden II, where cooks from around the world will come to challenge the cook of your castle, and you would have cookoffs and various characters would judge the food. If you win, you get a new recipe! Good times.

I cant believe Morimoto LOST!!!! HE HAD MY VOTE FOR THE WIN!!!! (when it started that is)

But yes, I bet that French Sakai wins. He is second coolest.

 

morimoto is quite amazing. except his restaurant is in phildephia, pennslyvania. its called morimoto. except its mad expensive...but worth it i suppose.

 

Yes, I have made that one of my goals... eat at Morimotos restuarant!!!

And yeah... he is a food god.

 

My brother got me into Iron Chef. I saw commercials for it when I would watch Emerald Lagassi, but I never really bothered to watch it. My brother on the other hand saw it once at his friends house, called me up and said to check it out. I did and though it was pretty entertaining. Lots of the stuff they cook with I found can be used in a lot of stuff (soy sauce can really do some wonderous things with potato wedges). It also got me hooked on this manga called "Iron Wok Jan" that was inspired by Iron Chef. Also, what does "squison" mean? I know I didn't spell it right, but its phonetic so you can sound it out. Its what that guy blurts out during the show when he has some info about what the chef is using.

I always liked Sakai Hiroyuki (the second Iron France).

 

squison? yeah i heard that before alot too. like when the guy has sumthing to say he sez that. im not sure, but it mite be just a name or sumthing. or mebbe sumthing like "excuse me."
