Neon Genesis Evangelion Is it possible...

is it possible for a series to be as, well...i dont even have a word to describe it. This series, in the past 2 hours has made me smile, drop my jaw multiple instances, almost cry three times,and just about throw up once. i don't know...it might be the lack of sleep, it may be just me getting a little TOO absorbed and how i take it, but i truley feel different in having watched what i did so far...I have six more episodes left to watch, and i really dont know if i am ready for the end...but anyway, i guess the point of this thread is to ask, have any of you ever watched this and shared any of the same things? or am i just really messed up in the head???

haha when you described your reaction to the last bit you watched, I thought you were describing your reaction to the end. The end will blow your socks off. (mixed cliches hehehe)

You're not too messed up in the head, NGE had about the same effect on me.

 

I can remember almost crying afew times during NGE. I think its a mix of the way people get drawn into the story(and the fact that it is SO damned good) and the choice of music.

Oh and the ending of the TV series, had me walking around my house with a bemused expression on my face, and muttering to my self, trying to understand the ending.

 

lol, the end had me doing the same thing, i was all walking around the house and my mom asked what i was doing, i told her that i just seen the end of that box set i just bought...she's like ok, and i went back to walkin...lol

 

When I first started watching the series I remember being completely obsorbed in it, one of the few animes I can say I'd kill to see the next episode after finishing another tape. A few months after I'd seen every episode I read the script to the movies on some website and was pretty shocked..then I saw the subtitled movie a friends burnt me and was horrified...

It's a cool series..
