    :eek: *cries* 26 episodes ain't enough fer my satisfaction...
    Is the plot, and everything over once Akito has accepted Tohru? Will the curse remain or will there be any attempts by other souma ppl to break it?
    What duyya'll think? a second series, possibly?

    It's not over. It goes on further in the manga, but I've only read to as far as it goes in the anime. I don't know if there'll be more anime, but I sure hope there will be. I know some of the stuff that happens later, but nothing huge. I want to get the rest of the manga too. But it's not over.

    was the plot really to find a cure for the curse, or to bring love into a family that lost all hope for love?

    there wont be a second season...if that's what your asking. There was an interveiw with the director where he said he doesnt think they'll be making a second season of it.

    That really sucks. I hate it when directors say that, damn them to hell. Well, I'll see if I can get Lex to buy me the manga when he goes to japan. He bloody better...

    Just because they aren't planning to make a second season of the anime doesn't mean that there will be no more of Fruits Basket animated. They could make a movie, or a series of OVAs...there are a lot of possibilities.

    And quite frankly, I doubt that the producers is going to just drop something that's this popular.

    Hmm that's kinda true. I really hope that the director will change his mind and do a second series.
