Anime Is This...

    Is Robotech related to Battletech or Mechwarrior? I've been a big Mechwarrior fan since I was a kid and I seen some pics of the mechs (don't know what they are called in the anime) and they are very similar in design.

    Robotech is actually the American version of Super Dimensional Fortress Macross....the Mechs in Robotech are called Veritechs...well the transforming ones anyways

    Ah, see, FASA basically... "borrowed" the designs early on in Battletechs life. Harmony Gold was not pleased and threatened legal action, and that is why those mecha were later "redesigned" in later editions of Battletech.
